The importance of the logistics system costs in the global market
(advantages and disadvantages).

Introduction
In solution of the following delivery the topic is developed on the importance of the
international physical distribution, its advantages to reduce the logistic and transport costs
and the disadvantages of the high costs in the same one. Therefore, international physical
distribution is the set of operations necessary to shift the load from a point of origin to a
point of destination, its function is to maintain the balance that there should be between the
contractual terms and their compliance in relation to the channels of distribution, prices,
times and operational management. Therefore its purpose is to discover the most
satisfactory solution to bring the correct quantity of a product from its origin to the right
place in the necessary time and at the lowest possible cost.

Development
The main points of the international physical distribution are to have clear objectives of
the same in order to achieve its effectiveness, we must therefore take into account that one
of the factors influencing the increase in transport depends, that tend to rise and therefore
affects the operating costs: the price of oil, since it mainly affects the fuel (Diesel) on which
most transport depends, which tends to increase and therefore affects operational costs.
Moreover, the lack of investment in transport infrastructure negatively affects, thereby
limiting the overall product supply chain, which adversely affects the final process of each
product.

Therefore the international physical distribution, being this the process of export of
products and / or services that has as main objective to reduce to the maximum the risks,
times and costs from source as starting point to destination as end point. In other words,
any failure in one of the stages of a product may suspend the distribution system affecting
international trade.

As regards the positive aspects that benefit companies, in addition to creating strategies to
offset distances and to be able to carry out their activities as close as possible to the final
market, we see that companies are modifying the way they package their products in such a
way that they take up less space and weight, so that all costs and transportation are
reduced.
Conclusion
International physical distribution is the logistical process to locate the product in the
international market taking into account the modes of transport that can be aerial,
maritime and land and the terms of negotiation agreed between the seller and the buyer.
Therefore the good use of this will achieve the reduction of the times, costs and risks of the
goods.

Thus, issues such as freight transport from the preparation, handling and preparation of
documents, especially when operational costs are high, international management
standards, as well as multiple and environmental options in modes and modes of transport
that make companies increasingly mark comparative advantages that allow them not only
to survive in our markets, but constantly grow with competitive advantages, thus
contributing to the country’s economy.
