POSITION TITLE: ASSOCIATE, GLOBAL MARKETING CRM

Reports to: Manager, Global Marketing CRM

in New Delhi. The BCC comprises of Consulting Services and Global Shared Services and plays a
critical role in supporting Bain's Global departments to strengthen our world-class infrastructure.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is based in Bain’s Gurgaon office and is an integral part of the Global Marketing CRM
team. This role is responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the database with a focus on new incoming
data, centralized data classification, identification of errors, managing regular reporting and overall data
quality control. Additionally this role will support the global CRM team on various integrity projects to
drive continuous data improvement and operational excellence initiatives for the CRM system.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:


 Contact and company data function: Understand the introduction and existence of varied
datasets in CRM database. Work in contact and company data functions, ensuring that all new and
outdated data is systematically updated on regular basis consistent with Bain’s high standards.
 Data de-duplication function: Supports the de-duplication function focusing on all contacts,
companies, and location duplicates. Look to proactively identify duplicates using SQL logics
from the database and merge them

 User data function: Supports CRM accounts administration function, focusing on all new and
existing users in the system. This includes account creation/deactivation and regular audits of
user data to identify inconsistencies. Reviews complex server-side synchronization for CRM and
Outlook exchange email systems through Riva application.
 Data classification: Executes work in the data classification function focusing on both companies
and contacts in CRM. This includes centralized review of company industry/sector and contact
job level/function. The data should be timely updated with very high degree of accuracy.

 Tableau knowledge: Creates live data visualization dashboards using Tableau to analyze trends
and monitor problem areas. Prepares functional process updates to regularly report progress on
different functions and programs.

 SQL knowledge: Regularly use various advanced CRM searches and SQL queries focusing on
data accuracy and monitoring. Also explore possibilities of optimization of processes with strong
knowledge of required technologies (SQL and Excel data spreadsheets).

 Projects and ad-hoc requests Work closely with other team members on projects and initiatives
requests relating to data quality, often require quick turnaround time. Collaborate closely with the
wider Global CRM team and communicate with the ‘data owners’ at all levels during various
phases of these projects or requests. Executes all regular and ad hoc processes related to data
updates, ensuring they are completed on time.

 Strong communication: Utilizes strong communication skills to deliver insights and drive
necessary process changes. Facilitates brainstorming with impacted stakeholders to get to resolve
issues and build consensus. Use PowerPoint slides and other technical tools to deliver high quality
presentations. Document central processes and ensure regular updates to them on SharePoint.

 Others: Perform other related duties as assigned or as responsibility necessitates. Support team
members by covering critical processes during extended absences and unforeseen circumstances.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 Up to two years of experience working on database systems or list maintenance in a professional
services environment. Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics CRM is desired
 Technical exposure to databases is required and basic understanding of SQL logics is important
 Necessary ability to work with data visualization tools e.g. Tableau
 Should have strong exposure to secondary data research methodologies
 Master’s degree in a related field is highly desirable
 Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to communicate
succinctly at all levels of the organization.
 Excellent customer management skills to work with global internal clients
 A strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
 Reliable, consistent and mature and able to work independently with a positive attitude.
 Ability to calmly multitask, and learn quickly in a fast paced environment
 Ability to deal with ambiguity and develop sustainable solutions to deliver practical results
 Able to work closely with teams in Australia, USA, France or other parts of the world, which
will require flexible hours and potential global travel
