HYDRAULIC VALVE
Hydaraulic valve provide the interface (sự chuyển tiếp) between the
hydraulic fluid, the control signal and the hydarulic actuarors. They are used to
control flow rate (tỉ lệ dòng chảy), the direction of flow and the pressure of the
fluid. The control singals may be mechanial, manual, hydraulic, preumatic or
elcectrical. The action of the control valve may be digital (in which (trong đó)
the valve changes from one set position to another) or analogue ( in which the
movement of the valve conrol element (bộ phận) dependent upon (phụ thuộc
vào) strength (lực) or value of the control signal. A two- or three- position
lever- operated directional- control valve ( van phân phối điều khiển bằng
tay gạt – hai hoặc ba vị trí) is an example of a digital valve whereas (trong
khí) a relief valve is an example of an analogue control valve.
In general (nói chung) a valve influences (ảnh hưởng) just one of these
functions (chức năng):

1. A relief vale is used to regulate (điều chỉnh) maximum pressure in a

circuit or part of a ciccuit.
2. A four- port spool valve may be used to change the direction of rotation
of a hydraulic motor.
3. A flow- control valve can alter (thay đổi) the speed of an actuator by
changing the fluid flow rate to or from actuaor.

In practice. Two or more valves may be combined ( kết hợp) the same
envelope (vỏ, bao) to produce (sản xuất, hình thành) a composite (kết hợp)
valve which has more than one funtion. In practice. Two or more valves may

example of this is where flow control ang check valve are combined producing
a undirectional speed- control valve with virtually (hầu như) unrestricted
(không giới hạn) flow in the reserve direction.
Agian, altering one particular (cụ thể) paremeter (thông số) of a circuit
may affect (ảnh hưởng) another. Adjusting a needle valve (van tiết lưu) to
restrict (hạn chế) flow in a circuit will cause a change in pressure difference
(chênh lệch) over the control orifice (cửa). similarly (một cách tương tự), if

the cracking pressure (áp suất mở van) of a relief valve is set too close ( quá
gần) the load -induced pressure (áp suất gây tải) at an actuator, adjustment
of the valve pressure setting will affect the speed of the actuator. Some of the
flow bleeds (chảy ) over the relief valve instead (thay vì) of feeding (cung cấp)
the actuator.
