1. Tell me about yourself / Run me though your profile

Good Morning Sir. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to introduce myself. I am
__________ and hails from _____________. I did my B.Tech in CSE/ECE/EEE/MECH/Civil
from IITK, which is affiliated to JNTUK. I have very good academic scores in School and
College. In 10th, I have scored ____% and In 12th, I have scored ___%. My family consists
of_______ members including me. I love outdoor sports, specifically __________ .
My goal is to build a successful career as a Networking specialist / Software Developer if given a
chance. I have attended Workshops on________________and done ________________ projects
during college.
My strengths are Positive Attitude, Punctuality, Self-confidence & Dedication, Good
Communication and hard work.
My hobbies are Internet browsing & searching for helpful applications, watching news &
discovery channel, playing Indoor games, listening old songs, art & design. This is all about me.
In my college, I have done many mobile application development projects successfully. Also, I
have done certification courses on Android™ Application Development & Programming, App
Development tools and Device Security.
I am skilled in planning, designing, developing, implementing, debugging and troubleshooting
mobile applications using Android. Also, I am good in object oriented programming, Core Java,
C++, Android framework & SDK, and Android Studio.
2. Why should we hire you for this position?

Weaknesses: I can’t say no to anyone and taking over responsibilities. Spending time on

My greatest inspiration is my dad. He has always thought me to take advantage of my strengths.

As a fresher, I want to develop my industry knowledge and sharpen my technical abilities. In

14. Are you willing to work overtime / Nights / Weekends?
As a fresher I have to learn required skills needed for work, if working in nights and weekends is
necessary definitely I support the company and willing to do.
15. What is your aim?
I want to see myself as a successful and respectable individual in a decent position where my
family feels proud about me and I am settled all the ways.
16. There's a bond of 2 years ....... you’re ok with it?
Working with a reputed company for 2 years is always good so I don’t have any problem.
17. What do you know about TCS ?
TCS is one of the fastest growing and leading IT firms in India. Everyone I know, who is a part
of this organization, is very happy about working here. I think this will be a great place for me to
perform, show my talent and get recognized as well.
18. How long do you think you will work for us after we hire you?
As a fresher starting my professional career in a reputed company like TCS where my skills are
recognized and scope for development and grow along with the company. If everything goes
well, I will be looking forward to a long stint here, as long as the company needs me.
19. Explain how would be an asset to this organization?
Employees are the Asset of the company because company growth depends on the employee’s
hard working, smartness and dedication.
20. How do you propose to compensate for your lack of experience?
I am a quick learner. Every time there is something new to me, I take time to study it and put it
into action at the soonest time.
21. What are your goals?
My short term goal is to get placed in reputed organization like yours and enhance my skills. My
long term goal is to make my parents happy through my hard work, make them proud of me.
22. Are you an organized person?
Organization comes naturally to me. My desk, folders, Books, clothes, Personal things and
everything else is always well arranged, sorted and neatly kept. Thanks to my mom for instilling
this skill as a habit in me.
23. Can you describe your time management skills?
I make a to-do list with timelines and stick to this. That’s how I manage time.
24. Are you reliable? Or Can I trust you with responsibilities?

Yes, I am not only reliable but also a very dependable person. If a task is assigned to me, it will
be dutifully handled and completed within the stipulated deadline.
25. Would you lie for the company ?
I don’t lie to advance personal or business goals. There is always an honorable way to succeed
and I will always word towards genuinely earned success. As long as I am in accordance with
company and legal guidelines, I would do what is best for the company and try to be effectively
resolved any issues that may arise.
26. Are you a leader or a follower ?
As a student sometimes I use to lead my batch mates in participating blood donation camps and
other social service activities and sometimes I use to follow my seniors as one of the team
member when we celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi and other festivals in the college campus.
27. What is more important to you: the money or the work or would you rather work for
money or job satisfaction?
Job satisfaction is more important to me. Working just for the money may not be fulfilling if I
don’t like the job in the first place. Job satisfaction makes me stay productive; money would
naturally come along as well.
28. Can you work under pressure or how do you work under pressure or can you handle
the pressure?
Working under pressure is what I have done a lot during my college days. I have realized that I
can actually work well under pressure. It is the pressure factor that brings out maximum
efficiency in me.
29. What have you done to improve your knowledge in the last year?
I have attended several self-improvements, time management, and personality development
seminars. I have also participated in training workshops related to my core area.
30. Describe your work policy ethics or do you have a good work ethic?
I am quite disciplined as a person, and I believe in doing my work in a planned and organized
manner. A well thought out plan and discipline in execution is the foundation of high-quality
work.
31. What are the three things that are most important for you in a job?
Honesty, loyalty, and determination to achieve my team’s target.

Success makes me happy. I also feel happy after accomplishing my task or makes me happy
achieving my goals.

33. How do you deal with feedback and criticism?
I have learnt that it is best to take criticism positively. Feedback and criticism help one to look at
things from a different perspective, which results in a better understanding of the situation.
34. How do you respond to change?
I am patient, persistent, practical, and always positive. This helps me cope up with change
smartly.
35. Is there anything which makes you different from other candidates?
Yes, Qualities like Positive attitude, Punctuality, Self Confidence, Quick learner, Team Player
which always makes me different from other individuals.
36. When you get two job offers which one you will choose and why ?
As a fresher I always look for god work environment where I have a scope to enhance my skills
and chance to grow along with the company, of course pay pack also.
37. What quality do you think a leader should have?
A leader should be able to coordinate a team, he should have excellent understanding of people
and their behavior at different points of time, he should be able to find people he can depend on,
he should be able to be distinguished in a crowd of people, he should be able to instruct a group
of people, he should be dominant and many more are there.
38.Are you applying to other companies as well?
Yes. I have submitted my applications in some of the best companies like [….]. Above all, my
priority and hope are that I will be able to land a job in your company.
39. Where’s you’re native place is and for what it is famous?
My native place is surrounded by some pilgrim centre’s and there are two sweets famous from
this place one is Kotaiah’s Kaja and another one is Tapeswaram Kaja.

Mr. Larry Page and Mr. Sergey Brin? Well yes. But, did you really knew this? No?
41.Who are the competitors of TCS in the world market as well as in Indian market?

42.Who is the founder of TCS?
Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata established TATA Group in 1869. However it was under Mr. Jehangir
Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata (JRD Tata), that this group was expanded and hence TCS was
established in 1968. Currenty Mr. Ratan Tata is the Chairman of the group.

I want to work in an organization where I can develop the skill set gained from my Educational
background as well as develop skills which will benefit throughout my career as regarding this
job, this job is entirely connected with my domain of expertise, and also it helps me to enhance
my communication skills which have been on my to-do list. So I want to get associated with such
a big organization and also improve skill sets that I have always wanted to upgrade.
47. What are your hobbies? or What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about painting. I have been a painter all along, ever since my childhood. Even
today, I take advanced art classes during the weekends. The whole exercise of beautifying a
blank canvas with colors relaxes me. It is my way of unwinding.
