ALL INDIA WEATHER SUMMARY AND FORECAST BULLETIN
♦ The Low Pressure area over north coastal Odisha & adjoining Gangetic West Bengal with associated cyclonic circulation extending
upto 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height persists. The monsoon trough at mean sea level now pass through
Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Jabalpur, Pendra Road, Jharsuguda, centre of low pressure area over north coastal Odisha & adjoining Gangetic
West Bengal and thence southeastwards to eastcentral Bay of Bengal and extends upto 2.1 km above mean sea level tilting southwards
with height.
♦ Under the above conditions, fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy falls likely over Konkan & Goa,
Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Telangana and Odisha during next 2 days; over coastal Andhra Pradesh during next
24 hours and over Gujarat state during next 3-4 days. Extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places are also likely over Vidarbha,
Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa & Telangana during next 48 hours and over Saurashtra & Kutch on 8th & 9th Sept.

Meteorological Analysis (Based on 0830 hours IST)
♦ The Low Pressure area over north coastal Odisha & adjoining Gangetic West Bengal with associated
cyclonic circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height
persists.
♦ The monsoon trough at mean sea level now pass through Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Jabalpur, Pendra
Road, Jharsuguda, centre of low pressure area over north coastal Odisha & adjoining Gangetic West
Bengal and thence southeastwards to eastcentral Bay of Bengal and extends upto 2.1 km above mean
sea level tilting southwards with height.
♦ The cyclonic circulation extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level over East Madhya Pradesh &
neighbourhood merge with above monsoon trough.
♦ The off shore trough at mean sea level from south Gujarat coast to north Kerala coast persists.
♦ The East-West shear zone roughly along Lat. 21°N between 3.1 and 7.6 km above mean sea level
tilting southwards with height persists.
♦ The cyclonic circulation between 3.1 km & 3.6 km above mean sea level over north Haryana &
neighbourhood has become less marked.
Weather Forecast for next 5 days * upto 0830 hours IST of 11th September 2019
♦ Meteorological sub-division wise detailed 5 days precipitation forecast is given in Table-1.
♦ No significant change in maximum temperatures likely over major parts of the country during next 2-
3 days.
Weather Outlook for subsequent 2 days from 11th September, 2019 to 13th September, 2019
♦ Increase in rainfall activity over northeastern states.
♦ Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy falls likely over
northeastern states, Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls likely over East &
Central India and along west coast.
♦ Isolated to Scattered rainfall likely over rest parts of the country, outside Jammu & Kashmir,
