3-2. STANDARD DISASSEMBLY DRAWINGS

Use this material as a reference when disassembling and reassembling the product.

1. Remove the Cover Screw on the Control


Panel using a (-) screw driver, remove the 2EA

screw driver.

2. Lift the Control Panel slightly and separate it

3. Turn the Control Panel Assy over and remove

make sure to check that the Air-Hose is not
broken and is properly connected, and then
assemble the Pressure Sensor.

1. Disassemble the Main and Sub Wire


Harness.

2. Remove the Cover Screw on the Control


Panel using a (-) screw driver, remove the

driver.

3. Remove the screws holding the Top-Cover


(2EA at the back and 2EA at the front),
separate the screw holding the Ground
Wire.

4 . Lift up the Top-Cover toward the arrow

(If the Checker is not removed, must be


careful that the checker assembled with the
Top Cover hits frame, tub and corner-angle.)

5 . Remove the lead wire terminal from the Lid


Switch and then remove the 2EA screws
holding the Lid Switch.

1 . Remove the 4EA screws holding the Cover


Back.

2 . Remove the 6EA screws holding the Pump.


(2EA at the back and 4EA at the bottom.)

3 . Remove 2EA clips holding the Pump hose


and the Drain Hose.

4. Remove the 2EA lead wire terminals from


the Pump.

1. Remove the Cover Screw on the Control


Panel using a (-) screw driver, remove the

driver.

2. Remove the screws holding the Top-Cover


(2EA at the back and 2EA at the front),
separate the screw holding the Ground Wire
and then lift the rear of the Top-Cover Assy
upwards.

(continued) 3. Remove the 4 screws holding the Cover-Tub
and remove the Cover-Tub.

4. Disassemble the Pulsator-Cap.


Insert the (-) screw driver between the
Pulsator-Cap and the Pulsator and push it

10mm Box Driver

5. Remove the bolt holding the Pulsator with a


Jig Box Driver 10mm box driver and separate the Pulsator.

6. Remove the nut (1) holding the Assy-Spin


Basket and the Shaft with a Jig box driver
and then remove the Assy Spin Basket.

To loosen a nut, turn it left


(Counterclockwise)
SHAFT-ASSY To fasten a nut, turn it right (Clockwise)

7. Place the main body so that the front of the


Outer-Case faces upwards and remove the
4 bolts holding the Saddle using a 10mm
box driver.

Caution
When placing the washing machine down

8. Remove the 4 bolts holding the Shaft using


a 10mm box driver and remove the Shaft-
Assy. (Check the Shaft status referring to
the picture on the left.)

<Checklist after Replacing the Assy Shaft>

1. Check if the TOOTH is engaged with the


Sleeve Wing at a depth of 3.5mm ~ 5.5m
during the wash operation. (When the Drain
Motor is off)

If the depth of the engagement is not deep


enough, a binding symptom may occur
during the washing operation.
SHAFT-ASSY
2. Check if the TOOTH is separated from the
end of the wings of the Sleeve by at least
1.0 mm during the spinning operation.
(When the Drain Motor is off)

If the separation distance is too short, noise


and binding symptoms may occur during the
spinning operation.

1. Pull the Assy-Motor Housing to separate it.

ASSY-MOTOR 2. Remove the 4 bolts holding the Assy-Motor


using a box driver and then remove the
motor. (10mm box driver).

For reassembly, follow the disassembly steps in reverse order.
