Welcome to the first 19/20 edition of the Brinsworth
Manor Junior School Newsletter.
Our School Values

Welcome
We welcome our new children and families and
hope that you and your children have had a
fantastic first week. We would like to remind all
parents that we are always happy for you to support
school in any way you can – if you are interested in
becoming a volunteer please contact the school
office. We really appreciate parental support so
please get in touch!
Reminder: Uniform and PE Kit
Please remember that our uniform is compulsory – a
decision made by parents and governors.
 Red Sweatshirt / cardigan
 White or red polo shirt
 Black or grey trousers or skirt
 Black or grey socks for boys
 White socks / red black tights for girls
 Black shoes / black trainers (no logos or patterns)
 Black head scarf for girls (where required)
 Red book bag
For Summer
 Red checked dress for girls (or ordinary uniform
as above)
 Tailored shorts for boys black or grey (with school
polo shirt / sweatshirt / cardigan)
For P.E
 White T Shirt
 Black shorts (girls may wear black footless
leggings for indoor)
 Black plimsolls or black trainers
 For outdoor P.E children may bring a black
tracksuit without logos or patterns.

School Council and Eco Schools PE Days

Each class has held an election to choose their Monday am – Year 5
representative for the school council. This year we Wednesday pm – Y4
are hoping to become an even more Eco friendly Thursday pm – Y6
