Career Counselling Guide

1. Treat counsellors with Respect

Leaders and future leaders from various fields of finance and
have voluntarily agreed to be career counsellors to provide
valuable advice and guidance to you.
Treat them with respect at ALL times.

2. Speak politely & professionally
As casual as we would like to make it, please converse
professionally with the counsellors and other participants.

3. Interact with other Attendees

Take time to network and get to know others who are
considering pursuing the CFA charter / are already pursuing it
and embarking on their own exciting career paths.

4. Dress Smart
Smart Casual / Business Casual is always the way to go!

5. Gives others a chance

There is no set time limit for a session. However, ty to limit your
sessions to 20 minutes so as to give others a chance to meet with
the counsellors as well.

6. Refrain from directly asking for a job

Counsellors are not there to recruit. Check out our Career Centre
for job postings if you are interested in looking for opportunities.
