PROJECT TITLE: Road Concreting

II. PROJECT LOCATION: Upper Odiong Campaasan, Bulalacao Oriental Mindoro

III. BENEFICIARIES: 320 individuals in 70 HouseHolds

IV. Situationaire/Rationale

Sitio Odiong of Barangay Campaasan is devided into two zones, the Upper and lower Odiong. The
community organizers were assigned at Upper Odiong in which most of the residents are flee market
vendors, tricycle and motorcycle drivers. At present time the road that the residents were using is a
narrow pathway that they made, during summer the road was dusty while every rainy day it is slippery
and muddy. Because of this situation their products will only be delivered away from their houses
because vehicles with more than two wheels can't get inside the compound. The vendors have to carry
all the goods from the highway going to the residential area. It is also difficult for the tricycle and
motorcycle drivers to bring out their vehicles because of the rough road and more especially on rainy
days they tend to got stuck on the mud. This affects the family income to become more lower than
usual.

IV. PROJECT OBJECTIVE

In line with the National thrusts and the present LGU’s administration goal of reducing the poverty in
