AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS

I, CHASE DACLAN, of legal age, single, and living at Barangay

Tejero, Cebu City, do hereby depose and say:

That on December 7, 2018, at about 9:00 pm, I was inside

my house, which is adjacent to the house of the Spouses
Carlos and Carla Saclolo;

That I heard a commotion inside the house of the Spouses

Saclolos, wherein I heard Carla shouting indistint words;

That the commotion bothered not just me but also my other

neighbors;

That I immediately called the Barangay and the nearest

police station and report the incident;

That because I was already worried that something will

happen, I just went inside the house of the Saclolos in order
to make sure that they are fine;

That I saw Carlos Saclolo, appearing to be drunk, holding

a kitchen knife about 8 inches long including the handle,
while attacking a man whom I later knew to be Bill W. Kadagan;
 That I took immediate action by grabbing the knife from
the hands of Carlos Saclolo and tried to pacify them;

That the Barangay Tanods then arrived and tried to stop

them but of no use;

That the police officers arrived and successfuly stopped

both Carlos Saclolo and Bill Kadagan, and they confiscated
the knife from my possession;

That the police officers then brought both parties to the

police station;

That I execute this affidavit based on the truth of the

fact of what transpired based on my personal knowledge.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto affix my signature this

12th day of July, 2019 at Cebu City, Philippines.
