Warnings Summary
Warnings for 1
The ASME tubesheet calculations are based on several assumptions. 1) The thickness of the front and rear
tubesheets are identical. 2) The operating temperature for each design condition should not exceed the design value.

Hydrostatic Test
Shop test pressure determination for Tube side chamber based on MAWP per UG-99(b)
Shop hydrostatic test gauge pressure is 390.988 psi at 70 °F (the chamber MAWP = 300.76 psi)
The shop test is performed with the vessel in the horizontal position.
Straight Flange on Rear Channel Head 393.107 2.118 1 1.30 9,885 34,200 No
Notes:
(1) Front Channel limits the UG-99 stress ratio.
(2) PL stresses at nozzle openings have been estimated using the method described in PVP-Vol. 399, pages 77-82.
(3) VIII-2, AD-151.1(b) used as the basis for nozzle allowable test stress.
(4) The zero degree angular position is assumed to be up, and the test liquid height is assumed to the top-most
flange.
The field test condition has not been investigated for the Tube side chamber.
The test temperature of 70 °F is warmer than the minimum recommended temperature of 10 °F so the brittle fracture
provision of UG-99(h) has been met.
Shop test pressure determination for Shell side chamber based on MAWP per UG-99(b)

The shop test is performed with the vessel in the horizontal position.

tubesheet is a bulk head.
