I. INTRODUCTION

English is being taught in all grade levels from elementary to Junior High school. This
subject aims to develop the learners to be responsible and well versed in communicating using
a foreign language. In realizing this, several challenges have equipped the teachers to be more
versatile and flexible in order to cater the needs of the 21st century learners.

The school performance of our learners inspires us to do more. Trainings and other
forms of professional growth will help the teachers to produce high caliber learners. In the
same way, learners’ performance tasks and exposure to several competitions help them to be
competitive and productive.
