(Well Typed) Performa 'A' in TI TREE sets.
2 copies of Performa 'A' is to be submitted by the 11.0.S/Principal to the DEO (Science Branch) between 10.30
A.M. to 3.00P.M. on working days excluding Saturday till 05/09/2019.
3. The Acknowledgement will be given on the 3RD copy of Performa 'A'
t. Filled in Application cum Admit Card in duplicate will be retained by the School out of which one Application-
cum-Admit Card will be issued to the student after the receipt of Roll No. & Centre Name from this Branch
One copy is to be maintained in the school.
5. Application-cum-Admit Card issued by the school should be attested by the Principal.
6. No student will he issued Roll No. by the School Authority on its own. Other than the Roll Number issued by
the Science Branch.
7. Attested Copy of Caste/PH/EWS certificate is to be submitted along with Performa "A". Caste/Category
once claimed will not be changed. Without valid certificate candidate will be considered under General
category.
S. While filling the application form. percentage of marks is to be tilled instead of CGPA.
9. Application sent by Post will not be accepted.
10. Incomplete applications in any respect will not be accepted.

1) First Stage National Talent Search Examination (NTSE)-2020 which will be held on
17.11.2019 (Sunday) for the students presently studying in class X in Govt., Govt. Aided
and Unaided recognized Pvt. Schools including the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar
Navodaya Vidyalaya, School of MCD, NDMC. DCB etc. under GNCT of Delhi. There will
be two papers 1. Mental Ability Test (MAT) 2. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) in this
Examination. Reservation for OBC-27%, [ non creamy layer as per central list is
available on www.ncbc.nic.in ], SC-15%, ST- 7.5%, Disabled category 4% (within
category) & Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)-10% (EWS candidates have to
produce income & assets certificate issued by the competent authority) as per norms of
NCERT. The selected students will be eligible for the find stage of NTSE-2020 to be
conducted by NCERT(Minimum Qualifying marks as per norms of NCERT.(40%for
Gen., OBC,& EWS and 32%for SC, ST &PH) in each paper.
3) JSTS-2019-20 which will be held on 15.12.2019 (Sunday) for the students presently
studying in Class IX in Govt., Govt. Aided and Unaided recognized Pvt. Schools including
KVS, Navodaya, NDMC, DCB etc. under GNCT of Delhi. The selected students will be
given scholarship and certificate by the Directorate of Education, GNCT of Delhi.
(Minimum Qualifying marks are 40% marks in G.K. and 40% Marks in Science and
Maths combined.
Eligibility Criteria
1 NTSE: The students who have secured 60% marks in class IX for General category,
OBC & Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 55% marks for reserved Categories
(SC,ST & PH) in the session 2018-19 as per NCERT Norms. No income limit is
prescribed.
2 NMMS The Students who have secured 55% marks in class VII for General category
and 50% marks for the reserved categories in the session 2018-19. The parental
annual income from all sources should not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- annually for all
categories of students during 2019-20 and they will have to provide Income Certificate
from the Employer of the parents (Certified Pay slip) or their area Tehsildar.
3. JSTS : The students who have secured 65% marks in class VIII in the session 2018-19.
No income limit is prescribed.

GOVERNMENT OF NATIONAL CAPITAL TERRITORY OF DELHI
1. NTSE:
Students presently studying in class X in Govt., Govt. Aided and Unaided recognized Pvt.
schools including KVS, JNV, NDMC, etc. under the jurisdiction of Delhi. Students registered
under open distance learning (ODL) will also be eligible for scholarship, provided the student
below the age of 18 years (as on 1stJuly of the particular year, the student is not employed
and He/She as appearing in class 10th Examination for the first time).
2. Eligibility
The students who have secured 60% marks in class IX for General, OBC & EWS Category
and 55% marks for reserved Categories in the session 2018-19. No income limit is prescribed.

3. Examination:
The pattern of written examination will be as follow.
5. Reservation :
At the national level for Stage-I Examination 15% for students belonging to the SC category,
7.5% for students belonging to the ST category, 27% for students belonging to OBC category
(Non-creamy layer) and 10% for Economically Weaker Section (EWSs) (EWS candidates will
have to produce income & assets certificate issued by the competent authority) as per central
list available on www.ncbe.nic.in/userpanel/centralliststateview.aspx and 4% for Disabled
(within category) as per norms of NCERT.
6. Selection:
Students who are selected/recommended from Stage-I examination, will be eligible to appear
for Stage-II examination, conducted by NCERT.
7. Schedule
1. NMMS :
Students presently studying in class 8th in Govt., Govt. Aided and local body schools
including MCD,NDMC, etc. under the jurisdiction of Delhi.
2. Eligibility :
Shall have minimum of 55% marks in class 7th for General category and 50% marks for the
reserved category in the session 2018-19. The parental (Husband & Wife) annual income
from all sources should not exceed Rs. 1,50,000/- for the all categories of students during
2018-19 and they will provide Income certificate form Employer (Certified Pay slip) or their
area Tehsildar.
3. Examination:
The pattern of written examination will be as follow.

2. Leave one box blank between two words. Limit your name and address within the space provided for it. Please see

3. Cross (X) only one of the appropriate boxes in item no. 4,5,6,7 and 11. For Serial No. 6 & 7 attachment of requisite

5. Submit Performa-'A' in two copies, exact photocopy. And third copy for acknowledgement.
6. Students can not scratch/alter/change the answer once marked on OMR Sheet, by using white fluid/ eraser/
blade/tearing/wearing or in any other form.
7. Students have to retain Question Booklet after exam.
8. Students must reach the examination centre at least half an hour before the commencement of the examination and
occupy the seat that bears his/her Roll Number, it is also advised to visit the exam centre one day before the
examination.
9. DO NOT use the calculator, mathematical table, cell phone or any other kind of ready beckoner in the examination
hall
10. Question paper will have TWO PARTS: Part-1: Mental Ability Test (MAT) consisting of
90 Multiple choice questions, Part-2: Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) consisting of 90 Multiple choice questions from
eight subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, History, Geography, Civics & Economics)
11. Time for Part-1 is 90 minutes and for Part-2 is also 90 minutes.
12. Each question carries 1 (one) mark.
13. Record your answer using the blue/ black ball pen. You have to indicate your answer on the OMR Sheet by darkening
the circle (•) on the serial number of the correct alternative.
14. During the examination follow the instructions of the invigilator strictly.
15. Hand over your OMR Sheet duly filled on both sides AND ADMIT CARD along with caste and disability certificate to
the invigilator before you leave the examination hall.
16. Write your Name, Roll Number, Category and School as given in the Application-cum-Admit Card on the OMR Sheet
as per example given below and on the cover page of the Question Booklet in the space provided as per example
given below.
17. Certificates of SC/ST/PH/VC/Low vision/Low Hearing/Orthopedic/Blind must attach relevant certificate issued by
competent authority against which the benefit is being claimed otherwise candidate will be treated as general
category without certificate and no weightage will be granted to the participant candidate having
SC/ST/PH/VC/Low vision/Low Hearing/Orthopedic/Blind certificate after declaration of the result accordingly they
will be treated under general category.
18. The Exam Incharge should ensure that students fill in correct information in all, specifically in Caste/ Disability
Columns.
Note:-In case of caste and disability the Exam Incharge is directed to collect the relevant certificates.
