Daily flow:

1. Pre-pre-rounds
a. Hear about o/n events from interns
b. Chart check  VS, notes
2. Pre-rounds
a. See sick + d/c + 1-2 others PRN
b. Review plans for each pt w/ each intern
3. Rounds
a. Decide order in advance
b. Have opinions + evidence / thought process ready BEFORE asking q’s
c. Write down all to-do’s
4. Immediate post-rounds
a. Orders
b. Consults
c. Meds
d. Notes
5. (crickets)
a. Check to-do list items
b. Come up with ~plan~ for next day?
c. Update notecard with day’s stuff
d. Read UTD
e. Help out as needed
6. Sign-out
a. Run patients with each intern, accompany for S/O if needed
7. End of Day
a. Check to-do list items
b. Orders tab: Recheck meds, AM labs ordered
c. Discharges: med rec for pts
d. Plans: (on s/o sheet for tmrw), addend “pending [ ] ” + bullet plans
