ranking and the amount you will
earn as a Teacher.

schedule will help ensure
bookings.

how you can earn quickly.
Here in 51Talk, you may earn as
much as you want. All you need
to do is to open more slots, so
you can conduct more lessons.
More lessons mean more
earnings.

your booked lessons. There will
be deductions/penalties for
your absences and missed
lessons. In case of an emergency
or any valid reason which you
won’t be able to attend the
booked lessons, kindly contact
the Support team. Notify via
Lesson Support Portal, SMS, Call
(Hotline #) or send an email.
Details will be sent after
launching.
Deductions from one or two
missed lessons may look like a
small amount when earning a lot
in 51Talk. However, bear in mind
that this still has a negative
impact on teachers service score
and reputation.

3) Audio Recording
After the PSO, I will send the
Finalized Script via Email w/c will
be used for the Recording.
Kindly record the script that will
be provided and make sure
there are no background/static
noises. If your recording will not
meet the standards, we will ask
you to repeat the recording. Be
very lively and enthusiastic
during the recording.
Afterwards, make sure to save it
in MP3 FILE FORMAT only. I will
also send a guide on how to do
your recording via email. You
may use your mobile phones or
go to www.speakpipe.com.
4) Diploma
All college graduates (Bachelor’s
degree) are required to submit a
soft copy of the Diploma. In
absence of the Diploma, you
may submit for the mean time
the following: TOR / Transcript
of Records and/or Certificate of
Graduation. Take note, you are
still REQUIRED to submit the
Diploma.
5) NBI Clearance
Must still be valid. You may
request a copy online through
their website or go to any kiosks
or NBI satellite office. In case
you don’t have the NBI yet,
please prioritize submitting the
first 4 requirements and just
include a receipt of the NBI.
Proof that you have requested a
copy already. Once you have it,
please send it through the
Launching team’s email address.
6) Teaching Certificates
(optional)
For you to have a higher ranking
here in 51Talk, aside from the
Demo Grade, submitting any
proof related with your English
teaching experience is a plus.
Please be informed that we
only credit English teaching
experience of at least 6 months.
We accept the following
documents as proof:
- Certificate of Employment
(should indicate the English
subject)
- Service Record (For
Elementary teachers)
- Certificate of Teaching (ESL
experience)

• Air Class - No need to create
an account. Your Air Class logins
are the same with your Teacher
Account.
• Skype - Before the Training,
kindly change your Skype Name
to your Official Teacher Name.
51Talk Service AGREEMENT

• As an Independent Service
Provider, you are required to
digitally sign the Service
Agreement located on your
Teacher Account. The Service
Agreement form is a non-
binding contract.
• Duties of both parties, you as a
teacher and us as 51Talk.
• Please note you are an
independent service provider and
not an employee of the company.
You are considered as an online
business partner of 51Talk.
• For the Confidentiality Clause,
during your engagement here in
51Talk, you will have access to a
lot of things owned by the
company. As teachers, you cannot
disclose all files, records,
documents, information and
similar items relating to the
business of the company. It shall
remain to be the exclusive
property of 51Talk. You cannot
retain any copies of these files
without the company’s written
permission. Furthermore, you
shall keep all information of
client’s Account as confidential.
• Non-compete Clause
Once you get launched as a 51talk
teacher, you are not allowed to
teach at any other ESL/EFL schools
may it be online or offline for that is
a direct conflict of interest between
both parties.
Note: For the Prohibitions, as
Teachers of 51Talk, you shall not
criticize or commit acts of libel
or slander against the company.
You shall not post or cause to be
posted any inappropriate or
dangerous statements on the
COMPANY’s website and/or
social media channels. Other
than that, you are prohibited
from conducting make up
lessons with the client for the
lessons missed. This explicit
prohibition shall survive and still
be effective one year after the
termination of this Agreement.
CONSEQUENCES
The company may immediately
terminate the Service
Agreement if we find out that
you have committed any of the
prohibitions enumerated in the
Agreement.
CLASS FEE REMITTANCE

remittance.
