I HATE SCHOOL

Good evening teacher and all my friends. Thank you for your coming
here today.
My name’s Hân and my purpose today is to present to topic I hate
school. So, my presentation is divided into 3 parts. Firstly, I want to tell
you the reason. Secondly, I will show you the disadvantages of quitting
school and finally, I will give you my point of view.
Before I begin, can I ask you this question: “Have you ever been happy
when the teacher didn’t come to class?” …. And I definitely think there
are many students that always pray for their teacher get sick or s.th
terrible in order not to learn. So, it’s an example you hate school and me
too.
Let’s get started with the reasons why I hate school.
Actually, I got a lot of pressure on my shoulder. There are many days
that I hear my alarm waking me up for school but I don’t want to get out
of my bed. I wanna sleep more. Although I attend a good uni but I still
don’t want to go. So, the simple reason is maybe I got some boring
classes. I’m really not interested in the lessons in school, I just feel
sleepy all the time. And I usually pull my hair or pinch myself . at least
it works in waking me up and helps me to concentrate.
Besides, another reason is there are many homework to do. It’s so
difficult to accomplish all the homework. Sometimes I feel like impotent
and want to do nothing. And everytime before going to school, I’m
always worried and stressed that I will be in teacher’s bad book if they
check my homework.
Everything happens for a reason. So that’s the causes I don’t like school.
Secondly, we will move to the disadvantages of quitting school.
I saw some students are ready dropping out of school and I’m sure that
they will never know the benefits that school bring.
The school environment will give you more opportunities to learn and
enhance your basic skills such as communication skills, computer
skills, team-working skills…especially problem- solving skills will help
you a lot in reacting faster with many different situations. And if you
reach this skills, you will become more flexible and it’s easy to defeat
your enemies.
Furthermore, school have a lot of clubs that focus on particular hobbies
of student. So, it’s a good chance for you to develop your talents,
reduce your pressure of studying and become more confident.
In addition, school will teach you how to write a good CV to pay
attention to recruiter. It’s a part of helping you get a nice job. On the
other hand, people who are willing to leave school, definitely they will
get jobs with the lower salary than those with qualifications. It leads
them not to have enough money to pay for the cost of living, especially
this bustle city.
As I said, school bring us a lot of benefits, but” Should I quit school?”
because of the pressure I’m having. So finally, I’ll give you my point of
view about this question. I know many students wondered” Should I
quit school?” everytime they’re in trouble. Because I used to be in this
case, so I can see it’s difficult to make the right decisions. But in my
opinion, quitting is a stupid action in my life. Actually, I’ve entered
uni for 3 years and my major is accounting. Everyday, I have to get in
touch with figures and computer. It makes me feel tired a lot. But I
remember what my parents did. They are the farmer, so they was really
miserable to earn a lot of money for me to attend uni. Therefore, I will
not give them a let-down. I will take them for my motivation to keep
going to school. Instead of quitting, I will try my best to go to the end of
education no matter what my outcome because it’s my choice.
Besides, looking back a long way I’ve come. You know 14 years for
gaining knowledge, it doesn’t deserve to drop out of school. I think
quitting is one of their reason to excuse for their impatience. You wanna
quit, yes I respect your decisions but I wanna say that before you make
it, remember the reason why you start. It’s your choice so don’t regret
and doubt about it. just keep moving forward to make your dream come
true, never look back because pain is temporary, greatness lasts forever.
In summary, although I hate school because of some reasons I’ve told
you in part 1, but I’ll never give up studying because this is the surest
way to success.
