Trader Joe’s Favorites

● Seasonings
○ Chili Lime Seasoning - great for tacos/mexican dishes
○ Everything but the bagel seasoning - Great for Avocado toast, seasoning veggies, or
eggs
○ 21 Seasoning salute - great for fish, chicken, meat, etc.
○ Mushroom Umami Seasoning - great on salmon or veggies
○ Onion salt
● Sauces/Condiments/Spreads
○ Vegan Mayo, it’s called “vegaN spread & dressing” (Green lid)
○ Vegan Kale & Cashew Pesto (refrigerated section near pastas or hummus)
○ Hummus - Great for Dipping veggies, using as a sandwich/burger spread, dipping pita
chips/crackers
■ Organic buffalo style hummus (my favorite)
■ Organic spicy avocado hummus
■ Spicy hummus
■ Tomato & Basil Hummus
○ Dressings
■ Caesar Dressing (in shelf section)
■ Carrot Ginger Miso Salad Dressing (refrigerated section near salad/lettuce)
○ Cashew fiesta dip cheese alternative - healthier “nacho cheese” dip, heat up in the
microwave for 30 seconds, or eat cold, and have with chips, nachos, tacos, etc.
○ Masala sauce (On shelf near condiments) - if you like Indian food, this is great to add
to steamed cauliflower and green peas or any veggies, have a slice of garlic naan
(frozen section) to complete the meal
○ Coconut aminos (soy sauce alternative, less sodium)
○ Almond butter, unsweetened
○ Sunflower seed butter
○ *Treat: Cookie Butter (more dessert-y)
● Cheese
○ Almond mozzarella shreds - great for pizza, adding to egg scrambles, salads, etc.
○ Soy cheese Slices - Great for adding to burgers/sandwiches
● Breakfast Items
○ Rice cakes (gluten free)
■ Add TJ sunflower seed butter or almond butter + banana
■ Add mashed avocado for “avocado toast” alternative
○ Vegan cream cheese alternative (TJ brand, green & blue package)
■ Add to Toast, bagels, or english muffins and sprinkle with TJ everything but
the bagel seasoning
○ Coconut pancake mix
■ Top with favorite fruit or eat plain - can make in waffle iron too
○ Almond butter granola
■ Great in parfaits, or with non-dairy milk as “cereal”
○ Oats
■ Grab the big bag of oats ($3.99 for 20+ servings) and make overnight oats
■ recipe: 1 cup of oats, 1 cup of non-dairy milk of choice, sprinkle of
unsweetened coconut flakes, light spoonful of matcha powder, cinnamon
(add in 1/2 scoop of protein powder for protein)
○ Creamy Cashew Yogurt (vegan)
● Meat Items (For my Meat Eating Friends!)
○ Orange chicken (frozen section)
■ Pair with the vegetable fried rice (orange bag, also in frozen section)
○ Chicken sausage
■ Jalapeno or sundried tomato flavor
■ add to pasta dishes or have plain with a side salad
■ Chop cooked sausage in small pieces and add to pizza as topping
○ Turkey burgers (frozen section)
■ Great to eat plain or on a bun/bread
○ Chili Lime chicken burgers (frozen section)
■ Great to eat plain, or cut up and add on a salad
● Fish Items
○ Frozen mahi mahi
■ Great for tacos - pan fry with seasoning of your choice and add to a corn
tortilla with lettuce, chipotle mayo, and avocado
■ Or eat plain
○ Frozen Tilapia
■ Great for tacos, do the same as mahi mahi, or eat plain
○ Fresh Salmon
■ Cook on a heated pan with olive oil, do not flip, but cover the pan with a lid
and let the fish cook until flaky and not raw
■ Can marinate it with TJ vegan kale & cashew pesto
■ Can season with 21 Seasoning Salute, salt & pepper, or favorite seasonings
● Vegetarian/vegan items
○ Tj’s Vegetable & soba noodles - near the salad/lettuce section, make according to
package
○ Quinoa cowboy veggie patties (frozen section)
■ Great to add to salads for lunch, or eat plain
○ Tempeh
■ Cook and chop up to use as “meat” in taco bowl
■ Make vegan tempeh bacon, look on google for recipe
○ Sweet potato gnocchi with butter & sage sauce (frozen section)
■ Eat plain or add cooked in veggies of choice, my favorites include: broccoli,
cauliflower, Mushrooms, or asparagus - sauce IS included
○ Cauliflower gnocchi (frozen Section)
■ Add favorite cooked veggies - broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms, etc.
■ Top with sauce of choice, jar of pasta sauce or vegan kale & cashew pesto
○ Jackfruit (canned, near the other canned goods)
■ Cut, cook, and shred then add in BBQ sauce - see Favorite TJ recipes for recipe,
pair with the gluten free mac & Cheese for a “comfort food” meal
○ Vegan Jackfruit “Crab” cakes
■ If you like crab cakes, this is a good vegan option - they do get pretty greasy
though (I dab off with a paper towel)
● Pasta
○ Red lentil pasta
○ Gluten free fusilli
○ Gluten free mac & cheese box (quick fix)
○ Caramelized onion & brussel sprout ravioli (refrigerated section)
○ Honestly, any of the raviolis are delicious, pair with sauce of your choice or just a
little olive oil & veggies
● Frozen Veggies/Random Frozen Foods
○ Riced cauliflower
■ Great for egg scrambles
■ Use to make Mashed potatoes
■ Use as a rice substitute in any rice dishes for a lower carb option
○ Cheese pizza with cauliflower crust (gluten free)
○ Garlic Naan
● Chips
○ Sweet potato tortilla chips
○ Pita bite crackers
○ Multigrain Pita chips
○ 3 seed beet crackers
○ 3 seed sweet potato crackers
○ Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla chips - SO good with Guacamole
● Random shelf stable items
○ Unsweetened coconut flakes - put in your overnight oats
● Beverages
○ Matcha powder - put in your overnight oats
○ Turmeric ginger tea
○ Unsweetened soy milk
○ Coconut creamer
○ Ginger beer
○ Cold Brew Coconut Cream Latte - Original Flavor
● Dessert
○ Soy creamy cherry chocolate chip non-dairy dessert
○ Soy creamy vanilla non-dairy dessert
○ Coconut chocolate non-dairy dessert
○ Raspberry & vanilla cream bars (low cal, SO good!)
○ Dark chocolate peanut butter cups
○ Chocolate covered almonds
○ Coconut sesame seed clusters - sweet but healthy to satisfy that sweet tooth craving
