Need to learn how to plan and implement Honeywell DCS
and PLC systems?
This intensive course covers all basic but essential aspects for
the engineering and configuration of a MasterLogic 200R PLC
Controller and Experion® Process Knowledge System (PKS).
The first section of this course introduces the Honeywell
Experion PKS system, basic networking and process control
network and presents the basic concepts and strategies needed
to develop guidelines for effective and consistent planning of
MasterLogic 200R PLC Controller. Lab exercises will include
troubleshooting typical errors in configuration.
The second section presents the basic concepts and strategies
needed to develop guidelines for effective and consistent
planning of the Experion PKS system. In addition, there is an
extensive hands-on workshop where participants build and
configure the Server. Those labs alternate with the related
theoretical parts.
The third section includes extensive hands-on lab exercises
where participants build and configure a Control Execution
Environment applicable to the C300. Lab exercises include
troubleshooting typical errors in configuration.
Course Benefits
 Identify hardware components of ML 200R PLC and its
I/O system, gain the basic skills to operate SoftMaster
required to implement the ML 200R PLC, utilize tools to
facilitate system online support functions
 Conceptual understanding of the Server to enable
optimum utilization. Design and configure the Server for
optimum data collection
 Conceptual understanding of the C200 and C300
controllers to enable optimum utilization. Design and
configure the C200 and C300 controllers for optimum
control

Who Should Take This Course?
This program is open for students in third or last year of
engineering degree or fresh graduated engineers without any
prior working experience who desire an overview and first
practice on Honeywell DCS system and PLC controller.
Working individuals are not eligible to this training program.

o Converting a SPARE channel in an IOM to
corresponding channel type and Configure
Series C IO references
o Control Modules, which incorporate Data
Acquisition using Reference IO’s, Regulatory
Control and Device Control Logic
o Checkpoint Save and Restore
 Perform Database Search operations
o Parameter search
o Where Used search
