Tek +| 28) 847 2987 Fax +1 281 847 1031 FUTURE PIPE INDUSTRIES Short Term Burst Test Report Date: Test: 10/20/09 ‘Short term burst pressure (wth Fiberglass connection) test report per ASTM D1599 & API ASHR Sample ID & description: Pipe: YB-API 10” x 750 psi; pipe number 751 Pin x box L = 30 feet Sample with nipple and end connections: ‘One end fitted steel xbox end cap, other end fitted with steel x pin end cap. End connections are free. Procedure: Sand bags were fitted at both ends of the test piece but, not touching the tested piece. High pressure pump was fitted to steel end cap along with a calibrated pressure ‘gauge accurate to +/- 0 psi. The pump was started and the pressure increased at a rate cf about 500 psi every 30 seconds with a 15 second pause to check for leaks. ‘Test was terminated when the bady of the pipe ruptured, a joint falure occurred, or pressure was not susiained due to body weepage.
