1. We start the class correcting two activities I gave them on
Wednesday for homework. One was a reading comp. and the other
fill in the blank with verbs from the box.

1. Les entrego a cada uno una imagen con ocho personajes de The
Simpsons; van a tener que copiar una breve descripción de algo que
hicieron. when? they were on holiday? you need to give them a
context De uno van a tener que elegir un personaje y el resto tendrá
que hacerle una pregunta con la información que copiaron para
develar el personaje. Por ejemplo: Tomás tiene el personaje de
Magguie. Juliana le hace una pregunta: "Did he fall asleep at
work?"(talking about Homer), "No, HE/SHE didn´t fall asleep." (long
sentences to make it more challenging) I don’t think I get it…  I
don’t understand how they are supposed to guess…. let’s talk about

simple using was/were since some of them can find it
difficult when they have in a sentence a noun phrase. For

3. For the second activity, They will have to write sentences
which are scrambled using the expression ago. The verb will
be given in the infinitive.
4. Homework: Act. 4 from LIVE BEAT (workbook) pg 36. Also,
I’ll give them a text in which they will have to put the missing
verbs from a box in the correct form.

1. We’ll start the class by correcting the exam and explain to them their
mistakes.

1. We begin the class correcting homework
2. We will go over the grammar chart on page 53 to focus on
interrogative sentences and clarify doubts. After this, they will do
practice 5 and 6 on the same page.
3. Homework: They will have to make sentences using the information
from the chart provided.

Also, they will have to look at a picture and complete the questions
using the correct auxiliary and the given verb.
Miércoles 15/05:
1. We begin the class correcting homework
2. As first activity, we will work on page 42 from live beat. They will
have to look at the picture and choose the best phrase from the box
to complete the story.
3. As second activity, we will listen to the song “Call me maybe” by
Carly Rae Jepsen and they will have to complete the missing verbs
and the correct form of the auxiliaries.
4. Homework: they will have to fill in the gaps choosing either simple
past or past continuous. And another activity about error correction.

1. We’ll correct homework and I’ll clarify all possible doubts.
2. As first activity, we’ll begin by working con student’s book Practice
on page 54.
3. As second activity, they will have to complete an interview based on
the information given.
4. Homework: Based on a four pictures, they will have to write
sentences describing what the characters were doing at a specific
time. Also, they will work on SET 1 from the material you provided
me with.
Miércoles 22/05:
1. We’ll correct homework and I’ll clarify all possible doubts.
2. We’ll watch a video which contains people saying what they
were doing when a blackout happened. I will play it once and
then, they will have to match the beginning of a sentence with
the correct ending. After that, they will have to fill in the missing
information about an interview to the Director of the Electricity
Company.
3. As second activity we’ll read about different boys and girls who
have experienced natural disasters and we’ll talk about the
importance of taking care of the planet.
4. Homework: Choose the correct form of the verb (past simple or
continuous) depending on the use of when/while. Also Set 2.

1. I will hand them out a photocopy with eight pictures and I will play
an audio with people explaining what they were doing when
different natural disasters happened. Students will have to number
the pictures.

1. I will introduce the new topic Relative Pronouns and as first
activity, we will read the dialogue on pg 56 from student’s book
to answer the question in the comprehension. Then I will write
the examples on the board to clarify the use of
who/which/where and tell them with the first two we can use
that as well.
2. As second activity, we will work with the one on the same page
where they will have to complete sentences using the correct
relative pronoun.
3. As third activity, they will join two sentences using the correct
relative pronoun

TIME, the material you sent me, to recognize the correct relative
pronoun in the sentences.
2. As second activity, we will work on extra practice on pg 122 from
student’s book joining sentences and using the verb in the
correct form.
3. As third activity, students will have to complete sentences by
using relative pronouns.
4. Homework: Students will have to correct sentences in which
relative pronouns are incorrect
Example: I had a hat who I really liked.
They will also have to join sentences making the changes they
may need to write the new version using relative pronouns.

1. Students will have to complete an interview using relative pronouns
in which sometimes they can use more than one option.
2. Students will have to join sentences which are split in two and use
the correct relative pronoun.
3. As third activity, we will listen to a song by Blur called “Charmless
man” in which they will have to choose between two different
relative pronouns and after that, say if the can use another one.
4. Homework: From workbook they will work on activity 4 and 5 on pg
46 plus activity 2 on pg 50.

1. Teacher will introduce preposition of place and motion on pg 55
from student’s book using the pictures on it to clarify the concept
2. As first activity, students will work on activity 7 on page 55. They wil
have to write sentences using the pictures to describe what the
burglar was doing.
3. AS second activity they will have to work on activity 4 on page 47
where they will have to complete the text using the correct
preposition.
4. Homework: looking at a picture, they will have to say if the
preposition used is correct or incorrect. Also, they will have to fill in
the gap using prepositions of motion given in a box.

member will be given a worksheet in which they will have to choose
from three possible options the correct preposition. Once they have
finished, they will have to correct the other group’s worksheet.
3. As second activity, they will read a text in which will have to
complete with the missing prepositions.
Homework: They will be given a picture with five characters and
they will have to write sentences saying who each character is and
what he or she is doing. Also, they will have to work on set 7.

student’s book. After reading, students will answer the questions. And correct sentences using too + adjective or not enough + adjective.
after that, I will clarify the concept by writing on the board the examples
ans also using the grammar box on page 63
2. As second activity, we will listen to the vocabulary section about places in
town, which they will have to repeat, match the pictures with the name
and say which ones don’t have a picture.
3. As third activity, sts will work on exercise 6 on page 63.

2. As second activity, students will have to work on the comprehension chart
about the information of one of the character who comes from Hong
Kong.
3. As third activity, students will listen to the different means of
transportation and they will have to match the picture with the correct
word. I will highlight the different colocations used to say how we get to a
place (by train, by bus, by plane and on foot)
4. For homework, they will work on Exercise 5 on page 65 from student’s
book and a dialogue.
