6. Some history and/or interesting facts about the disorder or famous persons with the disorder.

FORMAT FOR THE POSTER:

1. Title: Include the name of the disorder, your name and your block number.
2. Complete information worksheet. Type the information from the information worksheet and
attach it to your poster.
3. Pictures: Include at least 2 pictures that support your information. Include the citation for each
picture below the picture.
4. Works Cited: Attach your typed citations to the FRONT of the poster. Include ALL sources of
information and pictures. Use MLA format. You may use easybib.com for assistance.

RESEARCH CHECKLIST:

1. Sign up for your disorder of choice. Write it here:____________________________________

2. Gather your information from AT LEAST 3 sources. Include at least one print source (a book,
newspaper or periodical). Other sources may be from reliable internet sites. Look for URL’s that
end in .edu, .gov or .org. NO WIKIPEDIA!
3. Take notes as you read, bulleting the information on your information worksheet. Use your own
words! Make sure you write down the sources so you can refer back to them. You will need to
include this information in your “Works Cited.”
4. Proofread your written information for spelling and grammatical errors. CORRECT any
mistakes BEFORE you attach it to your poster!
5. Arrange your pictures and information in an attractive and organized way on your poster. Your
poster should be standard poster board—no trifolds or foam board!
6. Be prepared to present your information to the class. Your presentation should last from 3-5
minutes.
