automatically. The change affects only the default device comments, and does not affect the
user-defined device comments.
(a) After users change the model, the corresponding device comments will be loaded
automatically.
Example: After users change a DVP-EH3 series PLC to a DVP-ES2 series PLC, the
corresponding device comments will be as shown below.

problem is solved.

3. The default comments on the X devices and Y devices in VFD C200, C2000, CP2000, VFD E
Type are added.
※VFD C200, C2000, CP2000 ※VFD E Type

1. Instructions which are newly supported

A. DVP-SA2/DVP-SX2 version 2.66 and above support the instruction API 145 FTC.
B. TP04P supports the instructions DHSCS, DHSCR, and DHSZ.
2. The comments on D1480~D1991 are modified.
3. The simulator is updated to version 0.86. The version can simulate the function performed by the
instruction PID.
4. The path to which a device monitoring table is exported is modified.

WPLSoft version 2.33 or below: After a device monitoring table is exported, it will be saved as
DevMonitor.csv in the folder in which WPLSoft version 2.33 or below is installed, and the window
which indicates that the saving of the device monitoring table is complete will appear.
WPLSoft version 2.34: After the device monitoring table in a project is exported, it will be saved as
DevMonitor.csv in the folder in which the project (*.dvp) is saved, and the window displaying the
path denoting DevMonitor.csv will appear.

5. The problems that occur when a device monitoring table is edited.

A. Users can not copy lines correctly.
If users click a line of words in a device monitoring table (the line is not selected), right-click
the line, click Copy on the context menu, and paste the line into another line, the line pasted
will not be the line copied.
B. Users can not delete Chinese characters correctly.
If users click a line in which there are Chinese characters in a device monitoring table, and
press Delete on the keyboard in text-editing mode once, only one halfwidth character rather
than a whole Chinese character will be deleted, and a random code will appear.
C. Users can not correctly delete characters by means of Delete on the keyboard.
If users click a line in a device monitoring table, and press Delete on the keyboard in
text-editing mode once, the whole line will be selected. If users click a line in a device
monitoring table, and press Delete on the keyboard in text-editing mode twice, the whole line
will be deleted.
6. 1000 steps in a program can be edited online. The models supporting this function are SA2/SX2
version 2.66 (and above), EH3/EH3-L/SV2 version 1.82 (and above), and ES2/EX2/ES2-C
version 3.22 (and above).
Version: 2.35
Date of Publication: Sept. 11, 2013

1. An SV2/EH3 series simulator is supported. If a project is created for a DVP-SV2/EH3 series PLC,
the SV2/EH3 series simulator can simulate the functions of the DVP-SV2/EH3 series PLC.
2. Before a program is downloaded, WPLSoft will check whether the program is compiled. If the
program is not compiled, WPLSoft will ask users whether they want to compile the program.

The program which is not compiled can not be downloaded to a PLC.

3. The latching device ranges in the System Block window are corrected.

2.35, output value range for DVP04DA and DVP06XA in the Auxiliary Setup for Extension
Modules window becomes 0~4000.

5. After the setting of a password (a PLC password, a PLC ID, a project password, a program ID, or a
subroutine password) in a password setting window is complete, a dialog box providing the
information that the setting of a password is complete will appear. For example, the figure below
shows that the setting of a project password is complete.
6. Backup Setting on the Options menu is modified. If a project is created for a DVP-SV2/EH3
series PLC, PLC Second Backup Setting will be displayed on the Options menu. If a project is
created for another model, PLC Permanent Backup Setting will be displayed on the Options

user can use Program Example Generator and Extentension Module on the Wizard menu.
2. A memory card function is added to DVP40ES200RM. In the project created for a DVP-ES2 series
PLC, users can use Memory Card Service on the Communication menu to back up and copy
the program in the PLC and the data in the retentive area.
3. Owing to the fact that DVP-ES/EC2/EC3 series PLCs are upgraded, the password function is
modified so that it is similar to the password function of DVP-ES2 series PLCs.
New password mechanism: After users set a new password, the new version of the software will
automatically check whether the firmware version of the PLC used is 8.20 or above. If the
firmware version of the PLC used is 8.20 or above, the PLC will be locked by the new password. If
the firmware version of the PLC used is not 8.20 or above, the PLC will be locked by the old
password.
Note: After users use the new version of the software to set a new password successfully, they
can not use an old version of the software to removce the password.
4. Owing to the fact that the firmware of VFD-C series models
(C2000/CH2000/CT2000/CH2000-H/CP2000/C200) is upgraded, the MEAN instructions (MEAN,

the Communication Setting section for DirectLink (USB) in the Communication Setting
window. If the CDC mode checkbox is selected, users can only set a communication port and a
station address.
3. The Create backup file (.bak) checkbox is added to the Auto Save tab in the Editor option
window. If users select the checkbox, the saving of the file will generat a backup file whose name
is the same as the name of the file. If the checkbox is not selected, no backup file will be
generated.

old version of DVP-SX.
5. The problem that a program and comments can not be downloaded to DVP-SV2/EH3 by means of
WPLSoft v.2.38 (or below) if the size of the prgoram plus the size of the comments is greater than
15,872 steps is solved.
