ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

This project is done in our Final year of BE-Civil Engineering students .However it won’t
have been possible without tremendous effort from our project instructor Prof. Himmat
Sarvaiya, Applied Mechenics Department, L.E.College, Morbi-2.

We are highly indebted to L.E.College for their guidance and constant supervision as well as
for providing necessary information regarding the project & also for their support in
completing the project.

We would like to express our special gratitude and thanks to other persons for giving us such
attention and time.

Finally, yet importantly, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our beloved parents
for their blessings, our friends/classmates for their help and wishes for the successful
completion
BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS

Business Model Canvas has been introduced to make a good product out of the students
final year project to help the society & increase manufacturing Industries in India. One can
also make a patent from their project.
CONTENT OF BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS

Key Partners
In this students can do the partnership with different companies according to their
product. By doing this students got the idea about what is market scenario, optimization in
product & cost can be achieved, from where they got raw material of their product.

 Material Suppliers
 Commercial Partners
 Construction Companies

Key Activities
In this students got aware about how will they represent their product to customers. They
can use the media, radio, newspapers etc. for marketing of the product.

 Customers Experience
 Manage Network Effects
 Mix Design Calculation

Key Resources
In this section student got idea about, from which kind of equipments, they will purchase
raw material for their product.

 Transportation
 Materials
 Platforms
Value Properties
In this one can directly come in contact with customer requirement. In this they will
aware the customer about their product. How it is usable & beneficial over the conventional
product and which kind of services they will provide to customers.

 Proper Strength with Low cost

 Local Available Materials
 Same Strength as Compared to Simple concrete

Customer Relationships
In this section students got to know about how they will manage the relationship
with customer by giving them lucrative services.

 Good Quality of concrete at low price

Channels
In this students got to know about how they will approach customers. Which media
they should select for the marketing of their product.

 TV
 Adds
 Posters
 Newspapers

Customer Segments
Bifurcate the customer according to their product. To which kind of customer they can
sell their product.

 Public
 Construction Companies
 Government Body
Cost Structure
They can attract customers towards their product by giving them lucrative offers in cost.
In which department, they should have to invest most.

 Cost Driven
 Value Driven
 Marketing
 Equipments

Revenue Steams
In this section students got know about, from where revenue will generate from their
product. Price can be negotiable according to customer requirement. How it is beneficial in
cost as compare to same product available in market.

 Advertising
 Cash
RESULTS & ANALYSIS

FOUNDRY SAND REPLACEMENT

 After 7 and 28 days of curing we have perform compression test on each

cubes we have analyze following results.

 Table below shows the result of compressive strength with replacement

of foundry sand at different percentage.

CUBE REPLACEMENT STRENGTH STRENGTH

(7 DAYS) (28 DAYS)
(N/mm2) (N/mm2)

1 10% 20.5 27.32

foundry

2 20% 12.57 27.21

3 30% 9.25 24.67

WASTE MARBLE REPLACEMENT

Table below shows the result of compressive strength with

replacement of WASTE MARBLE at different percentage.

CUBE REPLACEMENT STRENGTH STRENGTH

(7 DAYS) (28 DAYS)
(N/mm2) (N/mm2)

1 10% waste 17.5 27.32

marble
2 20% waste 10 27.94

3 30% waste 8.67 22.86

 PARTIALLY REPLACEMENT OF AGGREGATES WITH
MARBLE WASTE AND FOUNDRY SAND

CUBE REPLACEMENT STRENGTH STRENGTH

(7 DAYS) (28 DAYS)
(N/mm2) (N/mm2)

1 10% F.S. + 16 27.94

10% W.M.
2 20% F.S. + 15.08 26.98
20% W.M.
3 30 % F.S. + 8.87 10.22
30% W.M.

This all results of replacement of aggregates are compared to the

plane concrete cube which are casted very firstly which strengths
are given in table below.

CUBE WEIGHT STRENGTH STRENGTH

(Kg) (7 DAYS) (28 DAYS)
(N/mm2) (N/mm2)

1 3.55 13.5 27.32

2 3.8 16.17 26.45

Finally, we got the results,

• If we use 10% F.S. in concrete mix, we get batter strength then plane
concrete in M20 grade concrete.

• If we use 10% M.W. west in concrete mix, we get batter strength then
plane concrete in M20 grade concrete.

 If we use 10% M .W. & 10% F.S. both together we get low strength then
plane concrete
