Scope and Limitations

The scope and limitations of the study revolves only for the Self-Service Check

Out (SSCO) products that the company, NCR, have to improve of due to the lack of

additional security that their machine provides. The motorized camera that will be

attached of one of the SSCO machines, will provide only the four degrees of freedom

namely; Up, Down, Left, and Right. Thus, adding other degrees of freedom would be

unnecessary because the motorized camera’s purpose is to look at the costumer’s check-

out items.
