Dear Hayden / Kate

I am writing this letter to advise that I will not be attending the meeting as requested for tomorrow, Thursday 22nd
February 2018 for a number of reasons.

The main reason for me not wishing to attend the meeting is because I have Aspergers Syndrome, I can sometimes
in stressful situations, find it very difficult to converse face to face with people and get my point across fully. I have
also been on medication from my GP for stress/depression and don’t want to find myself in a situation that may
exacerbate this.

Unfortunately, I feel I have been left with no alternative other than to tender my resignation and I would appreciate
it, if you could contact me with regards to notice to be given etc.

During the last meeting on Thursday 8th February , the meeting was not arranged with me in advance but was thrust
upon me at the last moment and I was told that it was just a FOLLOW UP meeting. I was very stressed and anxious
and was unable to defend myself properly against some untrue allegations made against me.

Also the fact that I have been suspended and Adele Murfin has not been suspended makes me feel that I have been
judged unfairly in advance.

Regardless of any outcome of any future meetings, even if I clear myself of any misconduct, the fact that Adele
Murfin will still be working at the EMA Hilton, will make my position untenable, as I will not be able to work with her
in the future. She has bullied me verbally and physically over a number of months and her allegations against me are
purely a deflection against her misdemeanours. My comments have been deliberately misconstrued and in some
circumstances Adele has lied about things I have said. I would feel very vulnerable & unsafe working with her,
especially after her mention of the word “rape” which is a total fabrication.

I did defend myself again against the alleged racist comment. See my email of 9th February 2018. I reiterate that I am
NOT in any way racist.

I would like to thank you all for giving me the opportunity and ability to gain valuable experience working for you
and am sorry that it has had to end this way.

Over the past 15 months I have been a conscientious worker, often working very long shifts, and always agreeing to
extended hours when asked to do so. I cannot remember having any days off sick during this time. In view of this I
would appreciate it if you could supply me with a good reference letter for my future employment needs.
