Discussion of Results
Table 1 presents the career decision making process of the respondents. It is comprised of
three steps: exploring themselves and their environment, gathering and processing information perti-
nent to their career decision, and deciding on what career to undertake. These results support Gelatt’s
theory (1989, 1991) that the decider undergoes a certain process in order to arrive at his career
decision.
