reading difficulties and to enable the Grade 5 and 6 pupils to be involved in
eradicating or lessen number of slow and non-readers.

CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PROJECT PROPOSAL

Project Title:

SHOOT MO PLASTIC BOTTLE MO PROJECT

Problem Statement:

1. What environmental policy that we can develop for the school that will
ensure physical cleanliness, orderliness and beautification of the school?
2. How can the pupils and teachers and school head help in implementing
energy conservation, demand management, waste reduction, waste
segregation and recycling?
3. What strategic way that we can make or adopt in order to encourage the
pupils, teachers and stakeholders to join cooperatively?

Project Objective Statement:

a. Develop skills and understanding among students, faculty and school

administrators in initiating active responses, and increasing community
awareness and participation on environmental concerns.
b. Develop wholesome work habits, attitudes and values towards work
efficiency.
c. Cooperate with the Local Government Unit Solid Waste Management
Program
d. Generate funds for sustainable and eco-friendly schools as
environment-friendly schools.

Root Cause:

Nowadays ugly pile of empty soft drink cans, bottles, wrappers, and
other litters can be tomorrow’s source of joy for the needy. Instead of
throwing this litter which adds to the unmanageable solid waste piled up
daily in the dump sites, they can make significant contribution to fund
raising venture for school to raise leadership among students and
encourage environment friendly individuals. For this reason, the students,
teachers, school head, Homeroom PTA officials and members is motivated
to conduct SHOOT MO PLASTIC BOTTLE MO PROJECT.
