1. A two km long, single-phase distribution feeder, shown in the following figure,


is serving a load of 1000 kVA at 0.9 pf lagging at 6.35 kV.
The GMR of a and n Conductors = 0.0076 m
The resistance of a and n Conductors = 0.3 Ω/km
(i) Determine primitive impedance matrix.

The GMR and resistance of the phase conductors are 0.006 m and 0.2 ohms/km,
respectively. The GMR and resistance of the neutral conductor are 0.005 m and
0.3 ohms/km, respectively.
