I. Objectives:
Traces the path of food in the digestive system
Explains what happens to the food in each part

Ask: What is the heading of the letter/ Where does the letter come from?
When was it written?
What is the greeting? To whom will the letter be sent?
Who wrote the letter, whose signature was that?
Where do you think Hamburger spent her vacation? What are the
places she mentioned? What do you think these places are? What
are stalactite and stalagmite?
(Talk about the places and its similarity with the organs of the
digestive system)
C. Application:
Let’s have your group activity.\I will give you your activity card. Read and
understand the instructions.
Recalling the standards to be followed while having group activity.
Group 1 – Complete the puzzle
Group 2 – Make a jingle about digestive system
Group 3 – Give the path of food in the digestive system using graphic
organizer
Group 4 – Arrange the processes that happen to the food inside the
digestive system
Then post your work on the board and explain it you may raise questions
after reporting

What is the complete path of food in the digestive system?
E. Value Integration:
The villi absorb the nutrients and distribute it to the different parts
of the body to make us healthy. What kind of food are you going to eat?
Are the food selling in the canteen nutritious? How about the food selling
outside the school? Are they safe to eat? Why?
