Let’s have a review to what we have learned from the story yesterday.
What is the title of our story? Who are the main characters?
What can you say about Tuko and his effort to fulfill his dreams?

I want you to draw in your white board , what you want to be when you grow up and
write a sentence about it. I need three volunteers to show their work here in front.

First I dream to have a toy. My mother bought me many toys.


B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson
I wanted to see a monkey. We visited a zoo and see a lot of monkeys.
I want to eat cherry and then she gave me a lot of cherries .
I also want to see a daisy then she bought daisies.
Then I want to visit a city, and now that I am old enough, I visited many cities.
Now that I have my own family. I want to see happy families.
Let us read and analyze the pair words.

Look at the first box. How many toy, monkey, key and tray are in the first column? How
about in the second column? What is added to these words to make it mean more than
one? Remember, nouns ending in y with a vowel before it form their plural by adding -s
only.

Look at the second box. How many cherry, daisy, city and family in the first column? How
about in the second column? What letter comes before y? Remember if a noun is ending
in y with a consonant before it we change -y to -i and add es.

I have here words with vowels and consonants before ending in y. Let’s categorize it
