Outrigger cylinders to be equipped with hydraulic locks.
The outriggers shall be fully independent multi-position
type. Outriggers shall have at least four (4) operating
extensions with corresponding operating capacities.
Extensions center to center shall be: -
(i) Minimum – 2.2m
(ii) Mid extension 1 – 5.0m
(iii) Mid extension 2- 5.9m
(iv) Maximum extension- 6.3m
Supplier shall state operating capacities at each outrigger
extension for various boom lengths and angles. This will
be presented in charts. On rubber operating capacities
shall also be included.
Both crane and drive operations shall be performed from
the cab mounted on a rotating superstructure. The cab
shall be fully enclosed operator cab, all steel safety cab
with galvanized sheet steel and laminated shatter-resistant
windscreen and roof glass with wipers. Cab heating and
defroster system. Equipped with FM radio and fire
extinguisher.
Full set of safety devices (load moment limiter, hoist limit
switch, hydraulic locks, overload cutoff, swing lock and
brake etc) including Real Time Load Indicator System,
boom and outrigger position indicator etc. An inbuilt sprit
level and override key shall also be provided in the
operator cab. The crane shall also have a load swing-over
the engine protection.
Slings made from Grade 80 Alloy Steel of at least 3 m
effective length shall have the following capacities:
