Writers journal #6

When I first began this class and heard the word research I initially began to think about the
research I have done in the past. Most of the research that I have been required to do has
always been about a topic of my choice or I would at least have some sort of say which makes
sense because I believe that the best research is done when it is about something that either
means a lot to you on a personal level or something that peaks your interest. So when I saw
thatI would be conducting some kind of research for this paper I immediately thought of the
research that I have done in the past and expected similar formats and requirements when it
comes to the quality of the paper. Research to me is extremely important and is essential to
these kind of papers not only looking for information to include in your paper but also so that the
person conducting the research may get a better handle on the topic that they are researching
and maybe then be able to either persuade the reader better or to relay some information better
and easier to understand based on the research that was done making you more informed and
making the paper overall be structured better and get the point across better.
