3) See P&ID: 4 digits of P&ID No. shall be entered. (See attachment # 1-1 - ) ex) 3101 shall be entered for P&ID &AA-11-P-FP 3101.

5) Line Designation: Fluid code, Line No., Material Class, Insulation etc. shall be entered where specified on Attachment #1. (See attachment # 1-1 - )

7) Flow mark shall be marked. (See attachment # 1-1 - )

13) In case of taking more than two sheets for one line, connection mark shall be clearly marked. (See attachment # 1-1 - & attachment # 1-2)

 

14) Pipe length shall be entered at each segment.

 

15) Hold mark in P&ID shall be followed. And for hold items, see attachment # 2.

30) For computation of pipe length (Only for elbow)

 

- For line size up to 10": Pipe length can be taken as an approximation. Length of fittings need not to be excluded from overall length of pipe.

 

- For line size 12" and above: Actual pipe pength shall be taken into account. (See attachment # 9)

31) Valves shall be taken from both BM sheet and P&ID respectively.

 

32) PSV.s upstream valves (only for 1.1/2" and below) shall be taken as full bore valve (VAB) in BM. (See attachment # 10 - )

33) The Min. line size for TI instrument shall be 4". If there are TI instruments located in 3" line and below, add appropriate items. (See attachment # 10 - & )

 

34) Take butterfly valves for cooling water service. Short codes in the table below shall be used based on the design pressure mentioned on cooling water lines.

43) Do not take BM for nozzle counter flanges including gaskets, bolts and nuts for 62" and above sizes.

44) Butterfly valve type for A/G shall be as follows;

 

- wafer type sized up to 24". (only flanges and gaskets shall be taken.)

 

- double flanged type sized 26" and above. (flanges, gaskets, bolts and nuts shall be taken.)

 

45) In cooling water service, base elevation for flanges which come from U/G shall be EL. 500. Extra break flanges are not required.

46) FJ (with jack bolt flange) shall be used sized 10" and above.

 

47) For flow Instrument Item (orifice plate), see attachment # 16.

- flange tap shall be used up to 14". (BM shall be taken up to flange)

- pipe tap shall be used sized 16" and above. (all bm shall be taken by piping except orifice plate. BM shall be as per attachment # 16.)

 

48) For slop line which is connected to trench piping, extra break flanges are required.

 

49) Drip pot size shall be in accordance with Piping handbook. (See attachment # 17) And for 26" and above lines, 6" shall be taken. For connection between cap and drain valve, TSØ shall be taken.

50) For injection nozzles,

 

- tap nozzle size shall be 2 size larger than branch size. (Ex. If branch size is 6" then tap nozzle size shall be 10")

 

- injection nozzle shall be considered as special item.

 

- For BM take-off, see attachment # 18.

 

51) For interlock valves, gate valve shall be taken.

 

Note.

1. P&ID shall be marked in yellow color when taking off BM.

 

2. BM take-off scope shall be clearly defined when marking on P&ID.

 

3. BM sketch, BM take-off and P&ID shall be consistant.
