Materials

#4 medium weight yarn; 4 skeins Lion Brand Heartland; color Olympic

5.5 mm crochet hook

Ch 101 (size x small-small)


Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook, and ea ch across. 100 sc’s, Ch 2. Turn
Row 2: hdc in 1st sc below and ea sc across. Be sure to insert hook under the two strand
ch that forms on top of sc’s; not into the spaces. 100 hdc. Ch 1. Turn
Row 3: sc in 1st st below and ea st across. Ch 2. Turn
Row 4: Repeat rows 2 and 3 for 14” length (aprox 41 rows) ending with a sc row. Do not
tie off. This takes you to the underarm area.

Add stitch markers as follows:


Add a stitch marker in 17th sc from the right and left edges.
Add a stitch marker in the 12th sc from the 1st st marker at right, counting
toward center. Repeat for left side.

Front and Back Panels:

(photo above) Continue pattern of hdc and sc rows for 8” lengths ending with sc row
(aprox 20 rows).
Front panels will be aprox 5” wide. Back panel will be aprox 14” wide.

Fold front panels, right sides together, wrong side facing you, as shown in photo above.

Seam at shoulders using tapestry needle and length of yarn.


Sleeves:

With right side facing you, attach yarn at center of bottom armhole.
Row 1: Work 45 sc’s evenly spaced around armhole. Sl st at 1st sc to join. Ch 2. Do NOT
turn.
Row 2: Work hdc into same ch 2 sp and ea sc around (same as for body). 45 hdc’s. sl st
into starting ch 2 to join. Do NOT turn. Ch 1.
Row 3: sc in same ch 1 sp and ea hdc below. 45 sc’s.
Rows 4 – 20: Repeat rows 2 and 3 ending with hdc row.
Row 21: Decrease row. Work a sc dec at 1st two sc’s; sc around to last two sc’s. Work
another sc dec in last two sc’s. Join with sl st to beginning ch1.
Rows 22 – 31: Repeat pattern working sc dec’s at beginning and end of sc rows for ea sc
row until you have 33 sc’s remaining.
Rows 32 – 45: Work in pattern for 33 st’s (no more dec rows) ending with sc row.

Repeat all for 2nd sleeve.

Sleeve Cuffs:

Rows 1 – 4: Working in back loops only for entire cuff, work sc dec in 1st two sc’s, sc in
ea sc around to last 2 sc’s. Work sc dec in last two sc’s (photo above).
Rows 5 – 6: Working in back loops only, sc in ea sc around. Tie off.
Repeat for 2nd sleeve.

Body Border:
Row 1: Right side facing you, attach yarn at center neck. Sc in 1st sp and ea sp evenly
around. Sl st at beginning sc. Do NOT turn.
Rows 2 – 6: Working in back loops only, sc in 1st sc and ea sc around, working 2 sc’s in
corners (for a rounded corner; enter 3 sc’s for more square corners). At end of ea row, sl
st into beginning sc.

Weave in all ends/tails as needed.

Thank you for your question. The detail is in the Etsy pattern but because you asked
I’m happy to provide:

For larger sizes, add to beginning foundation chain in multiples of 2, plus 1 (for
turning chain). Example: for medium chain 106 plus 1 = 107
Add additional rows for preferred length.

34 inches for chest (circumference)
23.5 inches from shoulder to bottom
34 inches at hips (circumference)
