Classroom 2.0

This is another tool we use for teaching here in ACADSOC.
Make sure that you have the updated Adobe Flash Player (for
Windows user) to launch the program.

For windows user:

Inside your student’s page you will see the
“Enter The Class” button to access E-
Classroom 2.0. Click the button to enter E-
classroom 2.0

Tutors can enter the classroom 30 min

before the class time. If you can a class via
skype/QQ class before, please mute all.
(Students won't hear your conversation with
the previous student.)

If you encounter any tech problem, please

click CS Assistance, save screenshots of the
tech problem and also report to your DS,
which helps technician do trouble-shooting.
There are two methods on how to enter E-
Classroom 2.0.

Method 1 is the Recommended one.

Method 2 will be the longer version to log

in to E-Classroom 2.0
Method 1

To log in using method 1 you will do the

following:
1. Launch your E-Classroom
2. Log in using your Tutor’s Name here in
ACADSOC (no special characters)
3. Copy the password which you can
find in the student page once you
click “Enter the Class”

Note: Please remember that there will be

different password for each E-Classroom
sessions.
Method 2
To open E-Classroom 2.0 using
method 2

1. You just need to click “Open E-

Classroom 2.0”
2. Wait for the application to
launch
INSIDE E-CLASSROOM 2.0
First thing E-Classroom 2.0 will do is to
check your system and it will give you
tips on how to use the program the
first time you will launch it in your
windows or MAC.
You can click “Next Time” to skip the
tutorial.
FYI : Once you open E-
Classroom 2.0 1minute before
the class you will hear a voice
reminder telling you:
“ 1 minute before our class
please contact your student”

FYI : When the class starts you will

hear a TONE and another Voice
Reminder will tell you:
“Lets start our class”
 Please remember that all classes here in
ACADSOC are video classes so opening

For windows they have 5 label tools to use when OS
teaching. • LASER POINTER
While for MAC OS they have 3 label tools that they • PEN
can use for teaching. • ERASER
 The SETTINGS button on the upper right
corner of your E-Classroom 2.0 will provide
you the guidelines if you want to review the
tips on how to use E-Classroom 2.0

Lets check the Settings Gear Icon, once you

click that you will see the “PRIVILEGE” settings,
this one is for the access rights of your student
inside the class. Just tick the box to activate
the access rights of your students.

It would be better if you tick all the

box in the Privilege settings to make
the class more interactive.
After E-Classroom 2.0 gave you the
tips for the class it will now check your
devices for teaching.

If one of your device is not

working E-Classroom will mark it
as a red exclamation mark.

As a tutor you need to fix this as

soon as possible before the start
of your class!

 TRANSLATION
Once you type words in the chatbox the Translation button
will appear on the right side of the Chat, if you want to
translate the words you typed all you need to do is click the
TRANSLATION and you can choose among the three
dialects.

Once you choose the dialect E-Classroom 2.0 will

translate the English words into these characters.

To disable the translation just

click the Close button
Normally, E-Classroom 2.0 will upload the
lesson of the student.

But what if E-Classroom

2.0 will only show a
blank lesson screen,
what will you do?

• UPLOAD MATERIALS (+) – We use this button to

upload lesson materials inside E-Classroom 2.0, all you
need to do is to choose the lesson material or visual
aids and click open. Wait for it to upload in the lesson
screen.
Once the lesson is uploaded inside E-
Classroom 2.0 a new button will
appear inside the Box button.

Material Database
- If you hover your cursor in the icon
you will see on the right the lesson
title click that button if you want to
view the lesson Screen.
Lesson Time
-this will help you to manage the time during
the class

Shortcuts:
If you try to hover you cursor below the
clock you will see these 2 buttons:

Blackboard – if you want to switch to

Blackboard window

Lesson Title – if you want to switch to

Material Database window

Blackboard
-Click the blackboard screen to switch
another window, in here you can type,
draw add shapes etc.
Share Screen
- Sharing of screen is possible in
E-Classroom 2.0, tick Share Windows View
Screen and you will share your
screen to your student.

MAC OS View

Annotate:
Once you click the
ANNOTATE button these
tools will appear on your
screen. And your screen
will be in freeze mode.

Cancel:
To unfreeze and stop
using the tools click
cancel.

 Changing of Lesson Screen

You can change the page of the lesson by click these left and right arrow buttons below the
lesson screen.

You can also change the lesson page by changing the number in the black number box in the
middle.
Fit Width
- We use this to change the size of
the lesson in the Material Database.

Full Screen
- We use this to change your Material Database into
full screen mode.
To End the class
To end the class simply
click the X button just
like when you close a
normal browser.
Once you click the X button you will see this message box:

Take a break : we usually use this for multiple classes, ask

your student first if they want to take a 5mins break, if they
say YES please click Take a break. E-Classroom will end its
program.

When the class will resume open Again your E-classroom

and enter your username and password again to enter the
class.

Finish Class : click finish class if the class is finally over. If you
will use E-Classroom again with another student you will
need to click Finish Class with your previous E-Classroom
class and launch again E-Classroom by logging in using
your username and the new password.
