4.1ntroductory activity Activity: The teacher will show picture.

What have you seen in the pictures?
What sport being portrayed?
Are you familiar about this sport?
Have youexperienced playing this sport?
Which of the pictures show individual sport?

4.2 Activity  The teacher will group the students for an activity to be done.
( 10min)  Group Activity:
 The students are group into four (4)
 Each group will assign the following topics.
 They are given 10 minutes to prepare their reports.
 Group 1- Define running/Specification of running
 Group 2- Nature and background of running.
 Group 3 – Classification of running
 Group 4- Basic skills in running

Note: The teacher will provide the copy to the students about the topic and the materials to be
used in the activity.
4.3 Analysis  The teacher will let each group explain the assigned topic. Each group will assign a
(10mins.) member to present their outputs.

What are the basic skills in running?

4.4Abstraction
(10mins)  After the group presentation, the teacher will give a brief discussion about the topic
being tackled.
 The teacher will make inputs regarding the topic being discussed to enhance students
learning.
 The teacher will show a video about the proper execution of the basic skills in running.

4.5 Application A. Individual activity: Each group will execute the basic skills in running such as :
(20mins) Ankling
Dorsiflexion
Frankenstein
High knee runs with extension
Butt kick
Knee up with leg extension low
5. Assessment: (10mins.) Assess Me!
A. By Pair Activity:
I will use the following rubrics when I assess my peer’s running form:
 A – All the time F –A few times
 M – Most of the time B –Barely
