Gas Room Heater Controls (Japanese Blower type)

Controls description:

入/切 hairu/kiru : On / Off - Power Button

運転 unten : (Start) Run Indicator

燃焼 nenshou : (Fire) Burner on Indicator

時間調節 Jikan - chosetsu : Temperature / Timer setting select.

Press ▲ or ▼ to adjust temperature set point at the display.

After few seconds display reverts to current room temperature.

おやすみ oyasumi : Sleep Timer Night : After pressing this button, indicator

confirms that the heater would turns off automatically after an hour.

おはよう ohayo : timer - wakeup morning (set timer 30 Min ~ 24 Hrs.) press

this button and set time with ▲ or ▼. It would set time delay after which

heater turns on automatically (warm up room before getting up in the morning)

現在室温 genzai-sitsuon : present room temp ˚C

設定室温 settei : Thermostat Regulator : required room temperatue setting

オートセーブ Ōtosēbu : Auto Save (セーブ Sēbu save) Indicates heater in the "Auto
Save" mode, that keeps the room temperature one or two degrees lower than the

preset to save the gas.

ロック Rokku : Child Lock, Press to lock and disable all controls except Off.

Press and hold again to unlock.

After a power failure heater needs to be reset / restart through Power button.

Basic Controls:

運転/燃焼 Unten/ nenshō : Operation / combustion, Press this button to Turn
On / Off the heater.

室温/時間 Shitsuon/ jikan : Room temp/time select. Press ▲ or ▼ button to

adjust the room temperature set point.

If both ▲ and ▼ pressed together for 2 sec, the operation panel becomes
operationally locked except Off button. It's kind of child lock (ロック). To unlock
press both buttons together again for 2 sec.

Variant:

低 (low) 16 18 20 22 24 高 (high) : 8 indicating leds at the top. An indicator
lamp blinks to show the current temp, and another indicator to show the temp
set point.

Running Heater constantly: If you set the temp at 高, it keeps heater

running at maximum output, no matter what the room temp is. If you set it
at 低, it lowers the heater flame to minimum.

能力切替 Nōryoku kirikae : Capacity Switch / Eco, Pressing this button would
prevent running maximum heat / flow and save the energy up to 30%. This is for
those airtight houses.

おやすみ Oyasumi : Good night timer, automatically stops heater after 1 hour.

おはよう Ohayō : Good morning timer, restarts Heater in the morning before
getting up (after setting up hours e.g. after 7 hours)

フィルタ Firuta : Filter, This indicates dirty filter behind the heater that needs to
be cleaned.

Precautions:

Do not run any type of gas heaters with fully closed doors / Windows.
Gas flames consume Oxygen and produces some amount of deadly Carbon
Mono Oxide. Any gas leakage could cause death and property damage.

Ensure to turn off heater before going to sleep. Don’t risk your life with
ignorance and negligence.
