RESOLUTION NO. _____, SERIES 2018

RESOLUTION REQUESTING PERMISSION FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND

NATURAL RESOURCES (DENR) TO CUT THE TWO (2) LANGKA TRESS, FOUR (4) MANGO TREES,
ONE (1) MABOLO TREE, FOUR (4) INDIAN TREES INSIDE THE SCHOOL CAMPUS TO GIVE WAY
TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A 4-STOREY (16) CLASSROOM-BUILDING.

WHEREAS, as the SAN QUINTIN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, located in Barangay

Casantamaria-an, San Quintin, Pangasinan is an institution that promotes quality education and
stills moral values to its students from Grade 7 to Grade 12 presently enrolled for School Year
2018-2019;

WHEREAS, so as to provide the students get the best education and stay in an
environment that is conducive to learning, a need arises to upgrade the school facilities to cope
up with the extensive infrastructure modernization within community;

WHEREAS, as a compliance in its immediate implementation, Barangay Government of

Barangay Casantamaria-an, have initiated a move through a Special Meeting to discuss possible
commitments in the course of the clearing operations of the affected area prior to the
construction of the project;

WHEREAS, this infrastructure development will definitely affect some fully-grown trees,
specially two (2) langka trees, four (4) mango trees, one (1) mabolo tree and four (4) indian
trees which will be needed to be cut and cleared in order to prepare the project site;

NOW HEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, it was moved by Barangay Kagawad Delano
N. Javien duly seconded and unanimously approved by all the members;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby Resolved, that the Barangay Government of Casantamaria-an

permits the tree cutting activities inside the school premises to give way for the construction of
the FOUR-STOREY, 16 CLASSROOM BUILDING, which will be spearheaded by all concerned
representatives with the assurance that there will be no anticipated issues against the clearing
operations;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Office as

concerned lead agency for their information and guidance.
