IViewBold Analysis

1) Enter the Advanced Viewing Package

2) Right mouse on the fMRI scan in the pictorial index and choose the
IView Bold package to setup your paradigm

3) Select IView Bold on the main menu bar and choose: Edit Paradigm
This will display the settings of the current paradigm.

 4) Define Tasks: Enter a paradigm name. Modify the task names. Drag the
left mouse on the grid to mark (or unmark) the related dynamic scans (e.g.
Rest 0-10 dynamics and Activation 11-20 dynamics)
The number of dynamics in the scan can be 60-80. Only specify the Block
dynamics (ex: one cycle of REST and ACTIVATION)

5) Define The Statistics: Click on the statistics tab. Modify the name of the
map and choose the type.

6) Select a task combination for the cross-correlation: e.g. task

combination of B-A (activation vs rest) indicates that the signal intensity
difference per pixel between these tasks will be measured.
The pixel smoothing, hemodynamic delay, pixel cluster, threshold setting for
color overlay and color range can be adjusted.

7) Select Save and OK: This will save and apply the paradigm.

 8) Drag the anatomical scan from the pictorial index into the package.
Adjust settings with the right mouse menu.

9) Select Compute: To calculate the TID

10) Select Time Intensity Curve: This will open the TID window.

11) Select the ROI type: Choose Freehand, Bezier or Ellipsoid

12) Select Drawing Mode: Draw a ROI around the activated area.

13) Select Compute: To calculate the TID

Create screen captures and store to database
