START TIME: 4:00 P.M. – 6 P.M.
FINISH TIME: 9:00 P.M.
DISTANCE: 10K with 5K OPTION

TRAIL: (1+) 10 km and 5 km

Walk on city streets and sidewalks on a 10K loop through the Woodhaven, a Sherwood neighborhood with holiday lights
and yard displays. Suitable for strollers. Not suitable for wheelchairs.
MISCELLANEOUS: Water and restrooms at start/finish and checkpoint. (Odge Podge Art and Antiques Gallery,
16237 Railroad St.) AWARD: Credit only is $3.00. Free participants are welcome but all must register, carry and return
a start card.
Challenges: Authors and Literary, Railroad Heritage, Riverwalk America, Arches, Gardens, Veteran’s Memorials,
Library, Bakery, Hooray for Hollywood

Directions: Sherwood Family YMCA, 503-625-9622. 23000 SW Pacific Hwy. From Portland, I-5, southbound or from
Salem, I-5 northbound, take Tualatin exit #289. Southbound turns right and northbound turns left at exit. Veer left at the
“Y” onto Tualatin-Sherwood Rd. Travel about 5.3 miles to Pacific Hwy. (99W) to stoplight at Sunset Blvd. Left on
Sunset Blvd. and left on Woodhaven to YMCA driveway on the left. NOTE: For those coming from the west on 909W,
the YMCA is approximately halfway between Newberg and Sherwood Oregon and Sunset Blvd. On Pacific Hwy. (99W).

The American Volkssport Assn. (AVA), a member of the International Federation of Popular sports, (IVV) sanctions all of our
walk events

REGISTRATION & FEES

NO PRE-REGISTRATION. Register at start. IVV credit is $3.00. No awards. The event is free if you do not want credit, but all walkers must register,
and carry and return a start card when finishing the event. Participants may walk for distance credit without limit. Event may be done twice for
kilometers on the same card on the same fee. NO REFUNDS.

STIPULATION

The American Volksport Association (AVA), a member of the International Federation of Popular Sports (IVV), sanctions this event. With registration for
this event, participants accept the guidelines for AVA Volkssport events & agree to observe the principles of good sportsmanship. Please no littering.
