COURSE POLICIES

Attendance is a must since each meeting will require class activities and discussions.
This means you have to come to class regularly and on time since you will miss out on
a lot of information if you are absent or late. Deductions will be imposed on absences and
tardiness. Please provide excuse letters if you cannot avoid being absent due to sickness
or other valid reasons (and please make an effort to notify me in advance).

Please come to class prepared with assigned readings, and/or production works.

Monitor the news and current events, especially in the big television/radio networks as
well as other news sources.

Active participation in class discussions and group undertakings will mean a higher grade
for the concerned student/s.

In the field of media, time and deadlines are extremely important that is why late work,
projects, assignments will not be accepted unless for a very valid reason. This is to
train you before you enter the real world of broadcast-journalism.

Please put your cellphones in silent mode when class is in session.

Turn off laptops and other gadgets if not needed in the class.

Cheating during exams, quizzes will not be tolerated.

Do not submit scripts/reports that were already done and/or submitted in or for other
subjects.

Do not plagiarize.
