This recommendalion is based on an incident that occurred on September 17, 2019 during morning
recess at Earhart Environmental Magnet. Ouring recess, Colton was playlng with a foam frisbcc. He
was nor being safe \Vilh it, so J took ii from him. He became angry with me. About 5 minutes passed.
and recess \\13S over. J handed the frisbcc t o another student to carr y inside. Colton walked over t o
the s1udcnt nnd f'ried lO lake 1he fr isbec from her. I tried t o explain to Colton why I gave it t o her to
carry. but he became angry again. Ile went to the end of the line and was being rough with another
student, I asked him 10 keep his hands 10 himself and he yelled at me "I am not doing anything." I
asked him 10 come 1alk to me, He was screaming at me 1ha1 he didn't do anything, I asked him to try
and calm down 10 talk to me. He bent down on the ground and s1arted 1hrowing sand at my feet I
aske d him 10 stand up and talk with me and he started screaming a1 me again. I have been told he
doesn 't like 10 be ignored. so I was trying to tell him I would talk to him af\er he calmed down, but he
continue d 10 scream al me. I called for the school psychologist because she has a good rapport with
hrm. but she was unavailable, So I asked the office to send anyone they could to help me. While in
rhe process of try ing 10 get help, Collon grabbed my wrists 4 times trying to get m e not to c all the
ollice, He kept screami ng that he didn 't want t o go 10 the offic e. I told him I just wanted him 10 c alm
do"n , Another adu lt saw I needed help, so she came outside. He started yelling that he didn't want
10 go ins ide wuhout me. He tried 10 stay about 8 feet away from the teacher who came to help, She
evenlually was able 10 gel him to walk with her to the office,
