CHAPTER I

MARKETING PLAN

A. Target Market

Our potential customers that can afford our school supplies will be fixed in

Atabay, San Jose, Antique. The primary targets are the students of Antique

National School and some students of Atabay Elementary School even the

neighbouring residents of the town were the quarry customers. But the demand

of the service is elevated among the students due to the fact that their needs are

greater compared to those individuals.

The total population of students of Antique National School as of SY 2019-2020

is about more or less 5,000.

Demand and Supply Analysis

Demand

To establish the market demand of the proposed project, the response of

the respondent as a result of the survey was taken into consideration, it was

conducted in Brgy. Atabay, San Jose, Antique where the respondents are the

students of Antique National High school and others are the town people. The

total number of respondents are three hundred forty (340), where 70% are the

high school students, teachers and employees of Antique National Schooland

30% are the town people.

Survey revealed that of the total respondents, about 91% of our

respondents usually buy their school supplies outside the campus and 9% of

which answered NO of not buying their school supplies outside the school

campus. The respondents consider the benefits of the services where 87%

responded for the school purposes, 22% for the value, 23% for the price. In

addition, the preferences of the respondents for buying school supplies is having

a low price which is 98% of our respondents choose, 7% of our respondents like

giving of freebies and lastly 12% wants to have a friendly owner. Also, out of the

total respondents, 83% of has a budget everytime they buy school supplies and

17% of them has no budget. On the other hand, out of the total respondents,

16% usually buy their school supplies once a day, 36% for twice a week, 13% for

3 times a week and 23% for 5 times a month.

Based on the survey, out of the total respondents, 19% has a budget of 15

pesos, 32% has a budget of 25 pesos and 36% has a budget of 50 pesos

everytime they buy school supplies.

Supply

Since school supplies already exists in the market, the quantity demanded

of at least 1,500 pieces of school supplies , respectively will be supplied for one

year at a quality service to satisfy the demands.

The school supplies will increase every year in order to compensate the

demand of service in the market.

Total Market Evaluation

Base on the survey, most of the respondents wants to avail our school

supplies for the educational purposes and for the value. The estimated amount of

money each segment can spend to avail our services is 15-50 pesos. In one year,

each respondent can spend an average amount of 600 pesos (12x50) in availing

the products in SEIS SOÑADORES ENTERPRISE.

B. Products of Services

SeisSoñadores Enterprise/Sevices will provide the needs of students and

professionals for their schoolwork, business work, research or entertainment

because it will also provide a mini library with free internet access.

SeisSoñadores Enterprise/Seviceswill be fully air conditioned and will operate ten

hours a day but the time can be extended upon request of customers. It will open

Monday to Sunday at 7:30 in the morning and close at 5:30 in the afternoon with no

noon break.

SeisSoñadores Enterprise/Seviceswill have 10 display cabinet with complete

products that our business will provide and also it has 2 computers with complete

accessories situated at workstations to serve as the counter. The internet connection

will be provided by Globe and using 3 mbps for their internet speed. Also it will provide 5

set of tables with 6 chairs in it for the mini library.

SeisSoñadores Enterprise/Seviceswill be equipped with different types of products

and services they offer. It takes short time to access the products and services

because you can contact the staffs and personnel to order or buy their products and

they can pack them as early as they can and you can pick it up if you are in a hurry. For

wholesaler costumers, it will also offer other options like reserving that particular product

and free delivery within the town of San Jose, Antique. It also provides products at an

affordable price that students can avail.

majority of the target market are students and most of them prefer to avail product and

D. Promotional Strategy

Promoting a business is essential for it to be known to the intended customers.

Hence, promoting Seis Soñadores Enterprise will be done as follows:

 Preparing two (2) streamers to be placed outside the Antique National School one

month before the opening and to the building itself, to inform people about the

enterprise. The streamer cost is P 300.00 each. The streamer sample is shown in

Figure 1.

 It will also provide flyers 2 weeks before the opening of the proposed business so

that it will be distributed to the teachers, students and to the town people in order

that they will be inform as early as possible.

 Preparing also for the caravan for the grand opening and giving some souvenirs

such as pens, and notebooks.

 Through social media, the said business will be creating its Facebook page in order

to promote and inform publicity.

E. Place Strategy

All services and products will be distributed from Seis Soñadores Enterprise building.
