Don’ts
❖ Never give wrong data related to Faculty, Lab Equipment's, Research Publications,
Placement, especially budget which always creates a negative impression.
❖ HOD himself/herself should give Department presentation and shouldn’t allow junior
faculty to present before the committee.
❖ Don’t keep any expired medicines in Health Centre, salts/chemicals in lab and Fire
extinguisher cylinder.
❖ The lift AMC certificate should not be expired.
❖ Never give false statements regarding students participation or recognitions in
International/National platform as these can be verified in fraction of minutes.

Don’ts
❖ Never do any tempering in Lab health register, faculty leave register, security and
sweeper’s roaster and salary registers.
❖ Never do arguments on such cases where supporting document is not available.
❖ Avoid any new recruitment of supporting staff or safai karamchari or bus driver during
visit period.
❖ Avoid unrealistic and lengthy Mission statements of each department.
❖ Never highlight any photos in any management/director office that reflects to any
political affiliation, cast/religious influenced (unless its Minority Institute)

❖ Paradigm: WHAT and WHETHER students learn successfully is more important


than WHEN and HOW they learn something.
❖ Purpose-1: Ensuring that all students are equipped with the knowledge,

❖ Are the Vision & Mission of the Department stated in the Prospectus /
Website?

❖ Are the PEOs of the Program listed in the Prospectus / Website?

❖ AICTE’s approval: for all the years including current year

❖ Overall Admission average for last 3 years > 50% of intake

❖ Program admission average for last 3 years> 50%

Part-B: Essential Qualifiers-2

❖ Faculty: Student intake > 1:25 (average over previous 3 academic years including
current academic year)
❖ Whether at least one Professor or one Associate Professor on regular basis with Ph.D.
degree is available in the respective Department during previous two academic years
including current academic year.
❖ Whether number of available Ph.Ds. in the department is greater than or equal to 10%
of the required number of faculty averaged for previous two academic years including
current academic year.
❖ Whether two batches have passed out in the programs under consideration
