ACTIVITIES
i. PRE-LESSON 1) Teacher shows a piggy bank
(coin container)
2) Teacher asks questions related
to the object (name, purpose
etc.)

ii. LESSON DEVELOPMENT 1) Pupils are divided into groups of


four.
2) Pupils are provided with the
pictures of where people keep
their money (five places).
3) Pupils choose a picture.
4) Pupils discuss and answer two
questions:
1. What is the name of the
place?
2. Why do you keep your
money there?
5) Pupils construct simple
sentences based on the
previous activity.
6) Pupils write their sentences on
the board/ chart paper.
7) Teacher and pupils give
feedback about the sentences.

iii. POST-LESSON 1. Teacher writes five unfamiliar


words on the board related to
the topic.
2. In groups, pupils use dictionary
to find the meaning of the
words.
3. Pupils share their answer with
other group members.
