The summary of Stone cold

INTRODUCTION ( Link)
The first part of the literary work is talking about Link who felt invisible in life. He hardly ever
had Friends. Also, people avoid him because they were afraid and different from him.
However, he didn’t give up.

Daily routine order 1

Part I (shelter)

It is talking about shelter whose name was beautiful and he really enjoyed it.

Part II (Link)

Also, Link told us about his dad who ran off with a receptionist and left his family. Also, he
talks about his mum’s boyfriend. He was vincent. He was a bozzer and arrogant person. He was
a Little heavy. They used to drink alcohol and mum didn’t care about her daughter and son.

Carole was with vincent one day in the evening. Then, they had troubles. The moment carole
told mum about the problem. Her Mother didn’t believe her. So, caroline decided to go with
her boyfriend to live in another place. She went out of the house.

Then one day , Link got home late and vincent didn’t open the door. His mum’s boyfriend
locked him out. When he returned home, his stepfather slapped him. Then he decided to go
away from his house.

He got used to his name. He looked at himself in the mirror. Also, he was a good man.

Part II ( Link)
It talks about shelter’s life on the Street. Also , he commented about how you would feel if you
asked for money. He was getting nastier and nastier because he didn’t have any place to live
in. Then , he decided to go to his sister´s house to sleep there. One day he could realize that
Chirs was annoyed because of his presence. He also mentioned that he has to be careful with
some dossers on the streets because you may be murdered.

Part I (Shelter)
It talks about shelter who talked about some dosser and blighter people on the streets who
wanted to be outside. He was in the national service and brought them to turn into soldiers. At
the beginning at the age of 47, he was in charge of them. He wanted to change their
viewpoints but then there was a plot who took him out and abolished the national service.
Part II ( Link)
He was looking for a job but he didn’t find any until christmas. He was depressed. He got a
present from his mum and sister.( a sleeping bag) he was at carole’s house where all the famiy
got together. All got drunk. Then, he realized he was a sponger, scrounger and layabout boy.
As a result he went to London and his sister saw him off.

He has a cat in his house. Its name is sappho. He felt really excited about it . Also, he wanted to
project a different image.

Part II (Link)
He was in London with 150 quid and his sister gave him 20 quid more to survive there. His
boyfriend didn’t know anything about it. He wanted to forget his previous life. He wanted to
rent a room in a dangerous place but the owner wanted him to pay in advance. As a result he
was in a hurry to get a job in a job centre. Hence, due to his age , he couldn’t work at that time
because of his age. He was interviewed about his life and he was totally nervous.

Shelter met a guy in a cold and filthy night in order to tell him about he has managed a hostel .
shelter was lying him because he has never worked in that place. (townhouse Project). The guy
believed him in every Word shelter said. Then, the man wanted to sleep over and stay in his
room. Shelter introduced his cat and some places of the room . finally, he killed him

Part II (Link)
He has seen many places where people managed to do their best . he has been out of work as
well. He was sick and his feet felt bruised. The owner of the house wanted him to pay the rent.
Otherwise, he will be out of the house. He didn’t have any money and he had to go out of the
house. Then, he joined his Friends on the streets

DAILY ROUTINE 6

Part I (Shelter)
Shelter is talking about murder and he is planning to kill people. Although he recognized that
he is out of uniform but he wants to do it. Moreover, he says that soldiers can kill people and
they don’t have any problems about it. There are some people who are discovered when they
murder because the dead bodies turn up and it is easier for the killer to be caught. Finally, he
said that he has a dead body in his house and it is tidier now.

Part II (Link)
He was hidden in a place where nobody could see him. Also, he remembered the rat-face man.
He was lying on his sleeping bag until his ass got a cramp. Then, he decided to go to the toilet.
