Passive Voice
 Emphasis is on the recipient of the
action.

“The pizza was delivered at the


specified time frame by Joe.”
EXERCISE 1
 Pick a PARTNER.
 DECIDE on who will be PARTNER A and who will be
PARTNER B.
 ALL PARTNER As:
 Face away from the screen / board.
 Hold a sheet of bond paper and a pen.
 ALL PARTNER Bs:
 Face Partner A AND the screen / board.
 Objective: Look at the illustration I will flash on
screen. Using ONLY WORDS, give your partner
CLEAR DIRECTIONS for recreating the same
DRAWING on is/her sheet of bond paper.
