1. If a person believes in the idea of moral nihilism, which refers to the meta-ethical view that
there is no moral truth nor the idea of right and wrong, perhaps he/she would tell that the statement
is false. For a simple human being like me, who have witnessed different cruelty within this world,
I would say that the statement is FALSE. There will always be moral truth at all, and things can
be distinguished whether it is right or wrong. We, people, are the ones who created the moral truth
and the standards of right or wrong, and we all based it on how something could contribute for the
greater good of the society. For instance, during war, a leader upholds his country and defends it
with all his might which is good but, the war itself should always be considered as wrong because
2. The statement tells us that we, human being, were born with nothing but truths that are yet to
be discovered as we go through the journey of our lives. The environment and the society are one
of the major factors that mold them and, help the in their task to conquer their fate and find their
own truth in their life. As men go beyond developing their cognitive skills, they’ll start to
understand that being a human being means that they have the natural rights to experience freedom
in this world, that they have the right to live, and that they have the right to own things that they
deserved to be achieved. All these rights are considered as crucial to every man. The natural flow
within the society could be disrupt if people would suppress other’s rights of living their own life,
3. Every one of us should pursue their self-interests as it is considered as the best way to promote
the common good within a society. People are being more passionate when they do things that
they love. As well, things could always turn into something beautiful when most of the people are
doing their tasks that they considered as their forte. For instances, let us all imagine if the father
of Muhammad Ali forced him to become a singer and the father of Michael Jackson forced him to
become a boxer, imagine the impact it would give to the world if these persons followed their
fathers and not their interests. If these examples would give a huge impact to us, then it would
bring a disaster if most of us would let ourselves be influenced by other’s mind set and not our
own.
