Philippine Airlines took to the skies on March 15, 1941, laying claim to the distinction of Asia’s first airline. It has a rich
seven-decade history steeped in tradition and modernity. As the pioneer national flag carrier of the Republic of the
Philippines, PAL showcases the best of the Filipino people and the country – warm hospitality, refreshing smiles,
attentive service and an eagerness to please the passenger/customer as though a personal house guest.

From its modern hubs at the Centennial Terminal 2 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila and the
Mactan International Airport in Cebu, PAL serves 45 destinations – 20 domestic and 25 international points in 13
countries and territories.

PAL also has code-share arrangements with one domestic and seven foreign airlines, allowing PAL to add 20 more
domestic and nine international points to its route network.

PAL operates an all-jet fleet of 38 aircraft – five Boeing 747-400s, two Boeing 777-300ERs, four Airbus 340-300s,
eight Airbus 330-300s, 15 Airbus 320-200s and four Airbus 319s – all meticulously maintained by one of the region's
best aircraft maintenance service providers – Lufthansa Technik Philippines. The two-class configured A320 and
A319 jets make PAL the only Philippine carrier offering business-class service in the domestic market.

In November 2009, PAL acquired the twin-engine, fuel-efficient Boeing 777-300ER, joining the B747-400 as flagship
aircraft. Delivery of the B777s signaled the widebody aircraft refleeting after completion of the narrow-body fleet
expansion and refurbishing.

Upgrades in the fleet and cabin amenities, complemented by world-class aircraft maintenance, enable PAL to keep
its flights flying on schedule and on time – achieving a consistent record of above-standard schedule reliability and
on-time performance

Today, as PAL nears its 70th anniversary, service both on ground and in-flight is being enhanced to higher levels.

Cebu Air, Inc., operating as Cebu Pacific (also known as Cebu Pacific Air and stylized as cebu
pacific) (PSE: CEB) and informally known as Cebu Pac, is a Philippine low-cost airline based on the
grounds of Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA Terminal 2), Lapu-Lapu City, Metro Cebu, in
the Philippines. It is Asia's oldest budget or low-cost carrier airline, founded in 1988.[4] It offers
scheduled flights to both domestic and international destinations. Its main bases are Mactan-Cebu
International Airport, Cebu City and Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila, with other hubs
at Clark International Airport, Kalibo International Airport[5] Francisco Bangoy International
Airport,[6] Iloilo International Airport,[7] and Laguindingan Airport.[8]
The airline is a subsidiary of JG Summit Holdings. Cebu Pacific is currently headed by Lance
Gokongwei, presumptive heir of John Gokongwei, the chairman emeritus of JG Summit. As of
January 2013, the company has 3,297 employees. 2,565 were from operations, 429 from the
commercial departments, and 303 from the support departments.[9] In October 2010, the airline
completed an IPO of 30.4% of outstanding shares.[10]
In 2010, Cebu Pacific became the Philippines' largest airline based on number of passengers flown
on domestic and international routes. According to Civil Aeronautics Board data, Cebu Pacific flew
2.45 million total passengers in the first quarter of 2010, nearly 110,000 more than Philippine
Airlines, which carried 2.34 million systemwide during the same period.[1

economic class seats. The flight detail contains the details about needed flight name as well
as the details about the seats. Flight reservation which contains the flight ID, ticket number,
passenger name, destination, flight name, business and economic class seats, travel
charge, passport number, date of travel are reserved.
