In the recent study conducted by geologists of the university of Madras , it has been proved that
there are definite grounds to believe that planetary configurations have a major role to play in the
Earthquakes. According to a study when ever 2 or more planets, sun and moon are aligned in a
line 0- 180 degrees with the earth, then the earth will be caught , between the Sun and the
planets . The gravitational stresses will change the rotational speed of the earth in its orbit. When
ever the speed of the earth changes tectonic plates motion gets affected, just like people collide

FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR EARTHQUAKES

1. Earthquake normally follows close heels of an eclipse, specially when the eclipse occurs
in the 4/10 axis of the chart
2. According to western astrologers if there are planets in the fixed sign at the time of
eclipse, then earthquake will occur in those parts of the world, where such planets are
either rising or setting , collimating or on nadir. Thus if planet Saturn is at 30 degree
from the meridian, the earthquake will occur in that part of the world which is at the
same distance from Greenwich east or west according to position of Saturn
3. At the time of earthquake there will be many malefic planets aspecting or in conjunction,
these malefic planets will also form an aspect with the previous eclipse also, but
earthquake will not happen until many malefic aspects or conjunctions are there on the
eclipse
4. Taurus and Scorpio signs are notorious signs and being fixed signs and when Saturn,
Rahu, Mars. Ketu and Jupiter are in these signs, and the nakshatra Rohini is afflicted.
5. Jupiter in Taurus /Scorpio aspected by Mercury or in conjunction may cause an
earthquake.

and approx. 40 minutes. At the time of eclipse VENUS is afflicted and in the nakshatra of
ROHINI . The crucial eclipse is on 15 June at 21:14 GMT London UK. Moon is on 0:22 Deg
Sagittarius and in a Gandanta degree and very close to the gandanta Rahu. Lunar eclipse will

degrees 12 minutes . it is in the 12 th house of the chart . 4,7,12 lords or houses afflicted ,
8thhouse or lord is not afflicted , but if we take retro aspect of Saturn then 8th house is also
afflicted Two planets are retrograde Saturn and Mercury. The 6/12 axis is afflicted and six
